Summary: This 5-in-1 printer was very cheap, less than $85. It's very noisy. However, for the $$ paid, I am very happy. Not that I have this printer for a longer while: I won't buy it again. Buy it only if you have money to burn to buy the ink for it.
Summary: I use my MX300 for printing, scanning, and faxing. I haven't used it for photos and do not plan to use it for that. The MX300 was super easy to install. It works great - only issue is that the cartridges are expensive and the MX300 uses the ink fast.
Summary: I received this printer for free when I purchased my Mac early in 2008. All in all, works exactly as one would expect with both my 1) Mac and 2) PC with XP, then Windows 7. Easy set up and no problems printing. Issues to keep in mind: 1) Not networkable .
Summary: This printer is a good value for $69.95. I have had it 3 months and have had no problems. I sent and received some faxes and it worked fine. I have read the fax machine has trouble when you have the printer on and your phone rings. I have had no problem with that.
Summary: I got the Canon MX300 about 6 months ago, and used it for only about a month before packing it up and having to move. At the time, it printed great, although setup was a little bit of a hassle with the cords included not quite being long enough, and the software is bloated, but not as much as say...
Summary: The unit is large, but that was understood before I purchased it. Paper trays do not handle much. The unit does not weigh much at all. However, the quality and speed for a light duty machine are very good. Print detail using my MAC is excellent.
Summary: This product works well. I has lasted me for years which is more that any other printer that I have owned. The ink is a bit pricey, but all ink is pricey. The ink is easy to find. I buy mine at Sam's Club. The only drawback that I can see is that it has a fairly large footprint.
Summary: I've had this printer since 2009 and have had no problems until now. It is not compatible with Windows 10 and Canon will not issue drivers to support Windows 10. I hate to let it go. I certainly got my money's worth out of it.
