Summary: This printer was not too long ago replaced with a wireless printer in our library but found a new home in my kitchen next to my laptop. It still works beautifully and has never caused any problems.
Summary: This was a great printer. Great print quality and a good copier/scanner too. Biggest Con was that it had no document feeder. I purchased it in 2007. Now 2012, I've had the printer 4 1/2 years, but alas, its power supply died. There are ALOT of comments and questions on FixYa.com etc.
Summary: I bought this printer about 2 years ago. Up until tonight it has printed great. I would say that I didn't even come close to printing 500 pages with this printer in that time. Probably much less. I replaced the ink once, relatively recently. Tonight, I print one page.
Summary: The Canon PIXMA MP810 is everything it says it is. Printing is sharp. Photos, when printed on Canon Glossy Photo Paper, are better than what I get from a photo store (like Wal Mart). It will also print from slides with the included slide holder, and these prints are sharp and clear as well.
Summary: We have owned this printer for over a year. We print photo's from both the Canon camera's memory card and from the software that came with the printer. The printer photo prints from the memory card are far better quality than from the Canon software program.
Summary: I'll keep this short.. First off this thing still has dozens of features i'm discovering that i've just never encountered on printers. The colors are bright and life like. There is virtually no graininess in prints of hi-res digital photos. But thus far the my favorite thing about this printer...
Summary: After much research, I bought this printer about 6 weeks ago. I have a Canon Rebel XT camera and wanted a printer that would print great photos as well as scan 35mm slides and negatives. So far everything more than lives up to my expectations!
Summary: I have been using this all-in-one since May 2007. It is the best printer/scanner I have ever used. No problems, excellent results scanning prints & negatives, and printing stuff like web pages, emails etc. - I don't use the Canon to print large photographs - and I have a seperate 4x6 photo printer.
