Still Own and Still Functions!

Sondra G. Oravetz, Amazon
1 February 2014
  • Summary: This printer was not too long ago replaced with a wireless printer in our library but found a new home in my kitchen next to my laptop. It still works beautifully and has never caused any problems.

Great While It Lasted

LeStrayCat "Paul", Amazon
4 August 2012
  • Summary: This was a great printer. Great print quality and a good copier/scanner too. Biggest Con was that it had no document feeder. I purchased it in 2007. Now 2012, I've had the printer 4 1/2 years, but alas, its power supply died. There are ALOT of comments and questions on FixYa.com etc.

Died... On a self-destruct logic board

Noel Garcia "Mediavoyager", Amazon
19 December 2010
  • Summary: Until the logic board went and self-destructed, it was doing well. I am very upset with Canon and its short-lived circuitry.

Great until it DIED

Craig F. Thomasian "krinkle73", Amazon
23 May 2010
  • Summary: I bought this printer about 2 years ago. Up until tonight it has printed great. I would say that I didn't even come close to printing 500 pages with this printer in that time. Probably much less. I replaced the ink once, relatively recently. Tonight, I print one page.

Canon PIXMA MP810

Bruce in Texas, Amazon
9 March 2010
  • Summary: The Canon PIXMA MP810 is everything it says it is. Printing is sharp. Photos, when printed on Canon Glossy Photo Paper, are better than what I get from a photo store (like Wal Mart). It will also print from slides with the included slide holder, and these prints are sharp and clear as well.

Great photo prints from a memory card

marwak, Amazon
22 May 2009
  • Summary: We have owned this printer for over a year. We print photo's from both the Canon camera's memory card and from the software that came with the printer. The printer photo prints from the memory card are far better quality than from the Canon software program.

Printer perfect

K. L. "traveler", Amazon
13 January 2009
  • Summary: After much research, I bought this printer about 6 weeks ago. I have a Canon Rebel XT camera and wanted a printer that would print great photos as well as scan 35mm slides and negatives. So far everything more than lives up to my expectations!

excellent photos and scans

Amazon Customer, Amazon
13 January 2009
  • Summary: Got this printer 2 weeks back. Still haven't tested everything, but did scan some old photos and printed some digital prints on 6x4 glossy. The photos are looking awesome and are quite comparable to prints from the photo labs. The print speed is unbelievable, and the ink drys real quick.

PIXMA MP810 a Solid Choice for the Photo Enthusiast

Elizabeth M. Witham "documentary filmmaker", Amazon
13 January 2009
  • Summary: Beforing deciding upon the PIXMA MP810, we had an HP all-in-one that was dissapointing. I did a lot of research before buying this printer so as not to be left wanting more once again.

Features, features and more features....

M. Alvarez "uses run-on sentences", Amazon
13 January 2009
  • Summary: I'll keep this short.. First off this thing still has dozens of features i'm discovering that i've just never encountered on printers. The colors are bright and life like. There is virtually no graininess in prints of hi-res digital photos. But thus far the my favorite thing about this printer...
