Great value from a product lifecycle point of view.

Summary: The great thing about these older printers, if you can find them new, is they have separate cartridges per color so you don't have to throw out a partially used combo cartridge. You can also get 4 sets of ink for 20 bucks on ebay.
Summary: I especially like this model of Canon Inkjet (and the MP560) because of their separate ink tanks (5) and the availability of really cheap ink via ebay or amazon (the CLI 220/221 inks). For that reason alone, buying this printer will save you money in the long run if you use the cheap inks. Printers are like razors, they make their money on blades (inks).
Excerpt: I love this printer for being wireless. All I need is one printer for my family of five. No more buying ink for several printers used by my teenagers to do their homework. Everybody just prints from their room and their documents are waiting for pick up. Another great feature is that they can scan a document and send the file to the computer in their room.
Excerpt: I recieved this Cannon PIXMA computer printer as a Christmas gift from my boyfriend who thinks girls like electronics as gifts! I guess its the thought that counts he also got me a wireless mouse for my laptop super fun!! I printed pictures with the picture paper he also got me for Christmas and I was pleasantly surprised at how well they looked! I think they looked better than stuff I've recieved from Snapfish!
Excerpt: I found this printer on sale at Amazon - I was looking for a wireless printer for scrapbooking, and this would be my first. I was impressed by the reviews and the great price, so I was looking forward to receiving it! I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up the printer. The wireless instructions took me a bit more time (some were very confusing) but that could be more due to me being a novice that the printer itself!
This printer does pretty much everything except pour me a drink

Excerpt: I've always had a computer in my home since, oh, about 1982 when I bought a Commodore 64 while stationed in Germany. I've owned various types and models of printers, from an Okidata Dot Matrix to a thermal printer of some brand I can't remember. I've had Epson, HP and Lexmark printers. I've watched them all evolve over the years and, like most computer related technology, they just keep getting better and cheaper. Lucky us.
Excerpt: We bought this printer over a year ago, as we finally couldn't handle anymore paper jams with our last one. We were looking for a printer that would be wireless, energy saver, color comes in separate cartridges, and saving options. This printer has met our expectations and more. We have not really had a problem with it. We have it set up so that our desktop and laptop will print from it. The wireless capabilities are great.
Excerpt: I was looking for a good multi-function printer, and the Pixma MP 620 was the answer! The printer is really easy to set up, and I have not had any problems in the year that I have had it. One of my favorite features is the COPY button, which allows you to scan something and print a copy of it without even sending the image to your computer.
Excerpt: I recently found myself in dire need of a printer when, in the middle of printing resumes, my printer decided to commit suicide. Being pressed for time, I drove out to Best Buy to see what my choices were. My hopes weren't high as I browsed the offerings. There were a few options I needed. I needed an all-in-one for scanning and copying and I needed it to be wireless because of the multiple PCs in various locations.
Excerpt: The Canon Pixma MP620 is by far the best printer I have ever used in my 13 years of using computers. My old printers were always Epson and they always sucked. I kept buying them because everyone said Epson made good printers. Hah! This printer does it all - I printed a photo using some of the sample pack of 4" x 6" paper that came with it and it looks EXACTLY like I had the photo printed at a photo processing store.
