Summary: I bought this about 4 years ago and it still works great. Love all the features (scanning, scan and send as pdf to computer, copier and of course printing from computer). Great product from Canon.
Excerpt: We spent many weeks or even months reading reviews and searching for the right printer. We got really lucky when we saw this printer on sale at office depot. My husband wasn't to sure about it since we always had HP printers but once we started using it the Quality just speaks for itself. I like how I can just print pictures from my camera and they come out looking so sharp. It took me some time to read about all the features some we don't even use.
Excerpt: We first purchased a Canon color inkjet several years ago in Europe. We were very happy with the scanning and print capabilities. Therefore, when it was time to replace it we went with the same manufacturer. Well this printer really met and exceeded out expections. The print quality is superior and you can use it as a standalone copier. Recently, I began to start scrapbooking.
The longest lasting printer in a heavy use household.

Excerpt: I homeschool and frequently print worksheets from the internet, or have to copy pages from an out of print workbook. I am also addicted to coupons, so our household has gone through ink and printers like they are going out of style. After buying an HP 3 in 1 which had daily paper jams, we decided to go with a Canon. Wowzers! I think we have had one paper jam in the past two years, and it was easily clearable.
The Pixma MP600 offers the best all-in-one in its price point.

Excerpt: I have owned many different computer printers over the last 25 years. Remeber those dot-matrix printers? When I purchased my Canon Pixma MP600 about a year ago, it was already being replaced by newer models. I wanted a printer that could print great looking pictures, used independant color ink tanks, scan documents and pictures and do duplex (double-sided) printing. The Pixma MP600 fit the bill, and for about $50 less than the closest competitor.
Excerpt: I was replacing an old lexmark and a separate scanner with this Canon. I was put off a little by the size of the printer but I found a place for it. This Canon prints wonderful pictures and it does so quickly. When I got the printer it came with some photo editing software that was really good. You don't really even need a computer to use this printer. It allows you to print picture files from memory cards.
Excerpt: I purchased my Canon PIXMA MP600 all-in-one printer, scanner, copier last year. I did much research online looking for a machine that had all the features that I was looking for. Amazingly, I found it in this product. I also own an HP LaserJet for everyday black-and-white printing, and so do not use the Canon every single day. However, I have not had any problems with it. One of the biggest issues I've always had with printers like this one is the cost of ink.
