Summary: I've had an MP360 for 5 years. I liked it so much I bought one for the office. It finally kicked the bucket and I installed this 530. Bad news.
The black ink keeps slipping out of place and it will stop printing. I open the lid and pull it out and put it back in.
Perhaps it is this ink cartridge.
Summary: This printer uses color ink whenever you print in B&W. This sucks up your ink and makes the quality not as good as it could be. Supposedly this only happens in duplex mode, but that is why I bought this printer.
Then if any color cartridge is empty, you cannot print at all.
Summary: I've had the MP530 for two years, and I absolutely love it! I am a freelance photographer, so I wanted something that could produce excellent photo prints. I am also a musician, and I print my own promotional materials, which again requires excellent print quality.
Summary: This printer does everything you want it to do, but it seems like every other day the ink is "low". If you try to push it and wait till the ink is totally gone, it will get to a point where it will not print because it says the ink is out (you can't even choose to print in grayscale when one of the...
Summary: It scans very nicely. It copies a bit crooked but fast and sharp and photos are good enough for framing - I framed a bunch. Maybe the color accuracy isn't as good as a $200 dedicated photo printer, but I also don't give a d*mn.
Summary: Good multifunctional device. Its a network ready multifunctional device with inkjet printing technology. It allows monochrome printing with maximum resolution of 9600x2400 dpi. It has 5-colour ink system with four dye-based colour inks. i recommend it.
Summary: I like canon very much .. until I bought this printer. The printing is fine, but the printer cartridges have a chip on them that causes endless problems - if you touch the contacts on the cartridge the printer could think that you have the incorrect cartridge in and will not print anything.
Summary: I bought this printer about 6 months ago and always try and hold off from writing reviews until I have used it a lot so can write something useful to people! What I can say about this Printer is well done Canon (again) - they seem to be impressing me in all of their products at the moment.
Summary: I purchased this printer because it was described as Vista Compatible. No doubt this is a good printer but Utilities supplied like Presto PageManager and Omnipage SE 4 are not Vista compatible.Presto PageManager is to be upgraded this month to make it Vista Compatible.
Summary: Generally this appears a good purchase. The print quality for ordinary office documents is very good but I've not printed out any photographs yet. The item is quite large but it looks reasonable.
