Summary: This printer was no better than all the others made recently. It did not last long and had to get a new (refurbished) one from Canon under warranty. The print quality was ok, nothing to brag about. The worst thing was the cost of ink, two refills was equal to the price of the printer.
Summary: We got this printer free with a purchase of an iMac back in 2010. Within a year, the flip-up control panel stopped working properly. The LCD screen no longer came on, but the printer still worked.
Summary: This printer works well until...the ink cartridges need to be replaced--even if they still contain ink! I never, ever print with color. However, I just tried to print something and the printer won't function--even in b/w--until I purchase another magenta ink cartridge.
Good printer, but failed early! Screen failures common

Summary: I liked this printer, but early on my screen went white. Searching the web I find that this is common. it's hard to use after that. About a year after that it completely died (no power at all). I expected more from Canon.
Summary: We have owned this printer for three years. Excellent little printer (much better than Epson regarding the ink cartridge use). However, BEWARE! Recently we came to work, turned it on and poof! No image on the LCD screen. So now you cannot control any of the features.
Summary: I used Consumer Reports to research a new Printer Copier Scanner and selected the Canon MP520 which was their "Best Buy". The printer worked great for 5 months then started pulling paper in at a diagonal. I contacted Canon.
Summary: I just opened and set it up this printer today, but I can't find USB cable any where, it doesn't include the USB cable. That's very frustrated. I can't imagine this happens, very very disappointed.
