Summary: This printer was no better than all the others made recently. It did not last long and had to get a new (refurbished) one from Canon under warranty. The print quality was ok, nothing to brag about. The worst thing was the cost of ink, two refills was equal to the price of the printer. I went with a HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus and liked it a lot more.
Summary: Printed okay. LCD screen never really handy, small and not good to view. Printer lasted about a year (screen went black, a pain), not long compared to any other printer I've ever had. Use Canon cameras that I like, will never buy their printer again. No reason to, lots of choices.
Summary: My printer died and I looked on Amazon and found the same one for a great price. Even though it was described as slightly used, I took a chance and lucked out, It was brand new. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Summary: Excellent printer- hard to find- being replaced by newer models- clear photos & text- easy to use- easy to install ink & maintain- highly recommend for small home/ small business printing/ copying needs- great scanner & copier- colors clear & crisp...
Summary: 1) This printer quality is horrid 2) It regularly jams on ANY print job.. no matter the quality of the paper 3) With only 8 month use, it is printing off track (half of one letter is on top of another) and there is blank strip down the right side. 4) I am guessing this happened when trying to clear a horrid jam recently 5) If you are out of one of the 4 toner cartridges, you can't scan? Huh?
Summary: I have owned this printer for over a year now. I have never had any problems with it. My wife and I are both in school, so it gets a lot of use. I have never had to replace the color ink cartridges, and only replaced the black one once so far. It is great on ink, especially if you use the "fast draft" option. It is all you really need anyway, unless you are printing pictures. We have printed pictures up to 8x10 inches, and they look really good.
Summary: This is a good printer...fast, clear print, quiet. It has a good many features. Problem: it does not scan in 3D. This means that any object that has any depth at all, comes out fuzzy. Also, it takes several tries to get the paper you are printing to come out square on the print-out. The machine is tricky in this way. I found that I get miles of print out of the cartridges, although I have read people complaining about this.
Summary: I have been using this printer for about six months and I have thoroughly been enjoying it. Here's some of the primary advantages: - Excellent print quality with vivid colors. - The print speed is acceptable. I can print a full page, high-quality image in about 15 seconds. - The scan quality is excellent for a multifunction printer. It's fast and makes photocopying a page a real snap.
