Summary: I like it, although it doesn't want to scan wirelessly with my laptop. Have to use the USB cord to make that happen, but not a big deal. Prints very nice quality pictures and is not too noisy.
Summary: This Canon customer has lost complete faith in making any further purchases from Canon, (2) this customer will tell everyone he knows via Facebook, comments at Amazon, ect. ect., to get the word out that Canon Printers with scanners will be unusable if the scanner goes out. When a scanner does go out, the printer is inoperable due to the error code status of the machine and no printing is possible, even though the printer works fine and you can even print test patterns.
Summary: I would give this five stars but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to use it enough to know if it warrants 5. The day after I got it my puppy went scrambling off of my lap, tripped over the printer cord and BOOM - it landed on the floor on it's side. Now the cartridges won't move! Hubby said he would take a look at it and see if he can fix it. I only used it a couple of times but really liked it while it lasted!
Summary: Printer quality is very good. Image printing is excellent but you must use the correct paper. Wireless setup and function is excellent. I print from 5 computers in my house, all wirelessly. Easy setup in about 15 minutes and the printer is easily discovered by computers by simply running the install CD. Recommend this printer for regular household printing on regular paper and image/presentation printing using heavy weight or glossy paper.
Summary: Great printer, easy set up and works great on wifi. I was a little disappointed to find out it does't supper air print from the iPhone. I does print well from the Canon free app, which only allows you to print photos.
Summary: nothing new here - companies make their money off of replacement ink, not the printer. This has REALLY small cartridges. But they are at least moderately priced. Cannot comment on scanner - never used it. Wish it did not have a scanner and was $10 cheaper. But this was the highest rated sub $100 wifi printer I found. I am very happy with it.
