Summary: This printer appeared to be new as advertised. There was Canon tape on most parts. At least it lit up and came with installation disk and preliminary manual. It also came with new cables, which checked as working. I tried every way to get it to work as my default printer.
Summary: Printer works great. The Canon ink warning gives you plenty of time to get a new cartridge as there is quite a bit of ink remaining when the warnings first appear. Wish there was a little more ink in the cartridges, and they are pricey because you get a new print head with each cartridge.
Summary: I've had good luck with it thus far. I've discovered I'm not a big fan of the gravity feed paper source. Unless you put a new piece of paper in everytime you want to print, over time the paper sags and curls.
Summary: This printer worked OK when I first got it, but after a month or so, all it does is eat paper and get jammed, all the while wasting ink and wasting a ridiculous amount of paper as they all get crinkled up and ripped.
Summary: I've had my printer for about 10 months. I loved it in the beginning. For the price, I thought it was a great printer (and still do think the quality printing is good). My problem is that after about 5 months, the paper feeder would no longer feed paper into the printer.
Summary: I ordered this product based on its capabilities and after reading a lot of reviews. I have a small business and use it for basic printing. Its a little slow (processing) but works very well...plus it was easy for me to install and I know very little about computers/accessories.
Summary: Bought this in November 2007 and rarely used at home. Now the copy function is dead. To get around that I have to scan and print. At least those still work but when the ink runs out I plan to get a different brand.
