Summary: Needed low budget but capable unit for daughter, this one fit the bill perfectly. Easy set up and all the features she needed. Have been using Canon and Lexmarks for several years now after abandoning the HP product line as their quality sank and the software became bloated enough to bring older machines to a crawl.
Summary: If you are looking to purchase a good quality all in one printer, then all I have to say is look no further than the Canon MP460SE. It is an all around high quality product with no major flaws which were found in the previous model MP460.
The print quality is A+, scanning quaity is B- and it is a great looking design.
I've owned several ALL IN ONE printers mostly from Lexmark and this blows all of those out of the water. Choose this printer and you won't regret it.
Summary: In a nutshell: It works. I have ZERO problems with it and did not even use the manual to set it. :) Simple, fast. Prints great photos. D'you have any idea how much money I've saved since I bought this machine? Don't let the price fool you, it works.
Very happy with my Canon MP460, awesome printer with card reader/scan/copy

Summary: I purchased this product as my old Canon Pixima 6210i had started to show signs of wear. Was very happy with my purchase as I didn't do much research on it and am impressed with the copy and scan functions, also the card reader is extremely handy for copying pics from different phones and cameras especially if you have a mini SD adaptor. Functions as well as any Canon printer I have owned, drivers easy to install, prints come out just right.
Excerpt: I was given this printer for my birthday a few years ago and never actually started using it properly until about 6 months afterwards when college work was becoming more demanding. I had difficulty setting it up but once you got it done it turns out it's absolutely simple! The Canon Pixma MP460 is an all in one printer which contains scanner and photocopying facilities as well as the standard printer. It has various ports for different cables e.g.
Good all-rounder at very reasonable price, but consider the price of ink before purchase!

Excerpt: This all-in-one printer is pretty good value and provides all the functions you could want for family/casual use. It can accept memory cards and have devices plugged into it directly, as well as having pictures & documents sent to it by your pc or laptop via USB. It has scanning capabilities and photocopies as well.
This is a fantastic all-in-one printer for the price and is highly recommended.

Excerpt: Some people love all-in-one printers, others loathe them. Common negative points are that because they do more than one thing then the quality of each of those actions is reduced. Thankfully I have not experienced this with the Canon Pixma MP460. The Pixma MP460 is a 2006 release from Canon and so is now a bit old, but this doesn't mean that quality suffers. What it DOES mean is that for less than £100 you can have yourself a high quality multi purpose device.
Fantastic all in one printer, with great lcd/memory card reader/usb input for printing without a pc!

Excerpt: This is a fantastic all in one printer. It's much better than the old hp psc 750 I had previously. It's so simple to use, and doesn't get in a tangle every time you accidently push a wrong button or when in runs out of ink. It's got an amazing list of functions which all seem to work perfectly! First of all, the important thing about a printer; printing. The mp460 is excellent. It is extremely fast and it really sucks the paper through at a incredible rate!
