Summary: I have owned this printer since 2005,it's still working great. And they still sell the ink, I have never had it in the shop, I think I paid $99 on sale. The pictures are great. oh and I just gratuated from college after 7 years of use and copied thousands of copies from the ebooks. The scan works really super as well. I wouldnt have got my degree without it. I would recommend this to everyone. Easy set up.
Summary: Pros: 1. I bought at a local store, with discounts I paid, $70.00. Loved the price. 2. The software that came with my printer/scanner/copier is top notch. 3. The ink seems to last me for a very long time. The price is close to what all ink for other printers cost. No complaint here. ;) Cons: 1. Is a bit loud when feeding paper, but I can live with it. I am going to set the quiet mode as soon as finish here. 2.
Summary: Over the years, I have experienced good and bad qualities in printers. This ranges from home use to purchasing and maintaining printers in research and academic labs. I can honestly say, I have not had any problems with Canon's brand of printers. For this reason, I searched for a printer that would accommodate and provide good quality documents in word processing, photo printing, scanning, and copying in my home.
Summary: I bought this unit to replace my 5 year old Canon F-30. The problem with my old unit was that after replacing the cartridges the colors stop working due to a bad print head. My only choice at this point was to buy a new head for more than I paid for a new MP-400. I look at differnt brands and they all had the same issue. They all use individual ink cartridges running on one common print head.
Small, sleek and efficient, a little wonder! Splurge yourself!

Summary: This is not my first Canon, I used them for years and they seem indestructible. I get this MP 450 from Amazon, before it get on the market, and just love it. It is a beautiful little thing, sleek and shiny in black and silver, white a nice adjustable LCD in full colour. This multifunction is quite small (nice feature if you don't want to clutter your work space) and it does everything his big sister do (I had the huge mp 780 which I was not so found of).
Summary: Haven't had the time to use the photo printer option yet, but for general documents it's been great - good quality, fast printing. And the scanner quality has been pretty good too. A great deal for the money. Thanks!
Summary: Well made, exceptional value AIO, that prints, copies and scans very well and much better than expected. I really feel its the best value printer for this price. Picture prints are specially worth mentioning since its a multifunction machine, one wouldnt expect to get such bright and crisp photo prints. The LCD feature makes it even easier for printing pictures without having to first transfer to the computer. I recommend it.
Summary: Bought this printer last year. I have previously always owned EPSON printers but got very fed up with always de-clogging the heads. This is an excellent printer, never ever clogs up even after months of non-use. What do EPSON do to their printers to make them clog up so often? Print quality is very good from standard letter printing to high quality photo printing but not as good as thermal dye printers.
Summary: I have had this printer for some time now and have been prompted to write a review after reading a couple of others. I needed a new printer and didn't want something too expensive. After hours browsing around on-line I settled on this one and have never regretted it. It prints, scans and copies. I have used it once to print from a memory card but tend to print my photos direct from PC.
