    I have been using my printer for 2 years this month. Sent at least 5,000 sheets through it. Works like a charm. I own my own home business, employee 2 other people. We have been using this printer for everything. It took me the last 3 days to figure out how to print business cards. You must know how to use Windows Publisher, and set the printer up accordingly. I only notice 1 thing. The printer does not like refurb ink. Tried it once, never again. Canon Ink Only.

    CANON IP3600, Ii got the printer in November 2011. its now ready to go in the recycle bin. I have had nothing but trouble with it. I used it as a domestic printer but every time I went to use it I had to clean the heads. It wasted much ink so much so that I think I got around 20 pages before it ran out of ink. Now I can’t get it to print black so out it goes. I can least afford this as I am on a pension but rubbish is rubbish. I have got a Xerox laser to replace it as I only use black. Canon is now making their ink tanks smaller and costing more and you must have color in the machine so they can keep up their color ink sales. So stuff the end user, us.I have used canon cameras and printers for years but never again. Don’t buy Canon.

The Canon PIXMA MP250 is an all-in-one compact Photo inkjet printer that can provide printing, scanning and copying options. It comes with a maximum printing resolution of 4800-by-1200 maximum colour dpi along USB 2.0 high-speed connectivity and also a Canon Green Generation design with certification from Energy Star. It also allows user to print take 8.5-inch-by-11-inch borderless photo in a true photo lab quality and also photos can be printed directly from the camera through PictBridge. It also has an Easy-WebPrint EX that enables user to easily clip, combine, edit and print it via web.

Features

The Canon PIXMA MP250 offers a much improved printing speed of approximately 7.0ipm (for black ESAT colour), with approximately 4.8ipm (for ESAT colour), and also coloured photo of 4-inch-by-6-inch borderless photo with printing speed of approximately 56 seconds. The printer is also equipped with automatic photo correction using the Easy-PhotoPrint EX, while the ChromaLife100+ helps enhanced FINE print using selected Canon photo papers to produce beautiful borderless photo images and as for Easy-WebPrintEX function, it has the ability in collecting, combining and editing multiple web pages. It is also equipped with Dual Color Gamut Processing Technology enabling user to maintain the integrity of the original. The MP250 would be able to cater to the standard maximum media size through its rear tray such as 4-inch-by-6-inch, 5inch-by-7-inch, 8-inch-by-10inch, Letter, Legal, U.S. #10 Envelopes. It is also compatible with Apple MacOS X 10.3.9 - 10.5.x6, Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems. As for its copying capability, the printer’s copy speed is rated approximately 39 seconds, while its copy feature includes Borderless, Fit-To-Page and multiple copies from 1 up to 99 pages. The Canon PIXMA MP250 flatbed scanner functions include Contact Image Sensor (CIS), providing maximum resolutions for example, 600-by-1200dpi for Optical and 19,200-by-19,200dpi for Interpolated; Gutter Shadow Correction, and also Push Scan. Other features of the PIXMA MP250 also include a 7 Segment LED, Auto Sheet Feeder, Quick Start, and a Self-Opening Output Tray. The device measures at 17.5-inch in width, 6.1-inch in height and 13.1-inch in depth and it weighs in at 12.7 pounds.
