Summary: I'm happy with the product so far, but the one thing I'm not happy about is that it needs a printer cable and the seller does not supply one. Why would you sell a printer without a USB cable? Now I have a printer I can't use because they didn't specify at the time of purchase that the cable required to use the printer is not included. Thanks a lot.
Summary: Happy with this machine. Bought it really cheap here in the Netherlands and it does what it's supposed to do. Scanner and OCR work fine. High quality photos, too. But that's my only gripe: many stores (including Amazon) tell you that it prints borderless photos but it does NOT! Mind, the Canon site states that it doesn't, it's the stores that are wrong here.
Summary: This printer is solid for a cheap printer. It has an easy to use interface, and DOES have a scanner function (despite what some other comments suggest, you just need to install the scanner driver when setting up the printer software). It's VERY easy to load paper into the printer, much better than my old HP Deskjet. It's a little louder than some other printers, but not so loud that it's annoying.
Summary: Canon's products are awesome across the board, so this item was expected to be no different and it certainly wasn't. If you need an excellent quality printer at a great price that has low cost consumables (Ink) then this will serve you well! Highly recommended!
Summary: Good printer. For the price it has really good print quality. Nice easy to use features. Not extremely fancy but has the all key features. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good bargain on a solid printer.
Summary: This is a basic printer which does the job. The only real criticism is that it hasn't got a paper tray (unless I've missed it) so you do tend to return to the computer and collect the printed sheets from the floor. Surprised that photos turn out well.
