Excerpt: Just a very brief review from me as all of the other reviews have said how good it is (which I agree with...there is a BUT though!). I picked this up when there was an offer on so the price of the printer ended up at around £20. A bargain. The ink isn't too badly priced around £15 which was half the price of Lexmark. The printer itself looks sleek, and it is quite large so needs a fair amount of space.
Excerpt: I needed a cheap printer for simple document printing when I started at university in September 2008 and Amazon were selling the Canon MP210 for £40. It worked fine up until May, when it suddenly, out of the blue, would not feed paper in. An error message popped up saying Paper out!, even though there was a decent load of paper in the tray. Looking around on these Amazon reviews, this is an incredibly common problem, and seems to be unfixable by the home user.
Excerpt: I bought this printer for work about 18 months ago and in fairness its done well so far. The one major and most annoying drawback has been the ink. Ive probably spent about £500 on ink to date which is most annoying! DOnt buy this printer if you have alot of colour printing to do. However if youre looking for something cheap and print off around 20 colour docs/photos etc per month, then this is probably fine. The print quality is good and its easy to set up.
