  • Excerpt: The CanonPIXMA MP160 All-in-One inkjet printer came with my computer when I bought my computer. I am happy it did. It will print pictures  with such clarity.  I can also make copies like a Xerox   machine. It is something I cannot do without anymore. One reasaon I love the features of this printer is that now I don't have to  try and find some where in my town  that will allow me to make copies of documents I need  for a fee.

EASY SCANNING...

  • Excerpt: Canon MP160, Scanning and copying are very easy to do. The printing is the problem.  The "catch" on the paper is RARELY right.  It either takes too many pages or it wrinkles and ruins the page that you have in there.  I tried different settings or adjustments and nothing seems to change it. The programing option (there are many) so that you can adjust the setting depending on your goal more ink, less ink etc... there are so many printer options.

great printer but expensive ink

  • Excerpt: my aunt gave me this printer for christmas like two years ago and i have been using it for the longest time and it still works fine. i like how it's all in one so i don't have to buy a seperate scanner or copier machine. the ink prints clearly although sometimes you have to run to cleaning tests and performace check. however, the one thing i hate about it is that the ink is so damn expensive! i mean come on, like $50 for ink!

Terrific little printer/scanner and great price - recommended!

  • Excerpt: I have been very pleased with this little printer/scanner.  I had been wanting a scanner for some time, and the scanner on this little machine works very well.  The print quality is also very good.  I have not tried the copying function so far but I imagine it is equally reliable.  This machine is compactly sized, easy to use and costs very little.  I have only been using it a couple of weeks, but so far, I couldn't be more pleased!  I definitely recommend it.

This machine is junk.

  • Excerpt: I received this Canon MP160 All in one printer, scanner, copier in a computer package. It is cheaply made and doesn't work well. The paper doesn't stand up well enough to be pulled in when it's ready to print. Paper must be in just the right position or it puts out and error message that won't clear out. This printer does not work well with Vista. I hate it and went back to my good old HP Deskjet 952C.

a scanner with plus for a computer challenged person

  • Excerpt: I brought my canon pixma scanner which also includes a printer for plain printing and for photos.  I'm still learning about all its capabilities.  For a somewhat computer-challenged person, I've learned how to use the scanner to scan such things as plain copies and handmade greeting cards which I keep in an idea file as I create them.  I also use the scanner to create/print messages for handmade cards on plain and colored card stock.

  • Excerpt: This is an affordable, but high quality AIO. It works excellent with both Vista and OS X! Easy to use, good error management and fast printing. Software is decent for Vista and it works really well with OS X's software. Although I have not used this feature, it has a PictBridge.

Canon's MP160 does everything that a small business would need.

  • Excerpt: When I needed a printer I went to a couple different stores looking for just the right printer for what I wanted to use it for. I had owned an HP that was nice but I wanted a scanner. I looked at a few different brands when I came accross the Canon MP160. Not only did I like the fact that it would copy and print, it scanned. When I have it combined with my PC it serves as a vital tool for my business.
