Not the greatest machine, but a very good deal for me.

Summary: I searched out this machine because I had ink for it. It's an older model, and it's not the greatest. But, considering how long I've been without a scanner/copier, I am happy to have it. The price was a plus, as well. Very good buy. The sellers were wonderful. After sending me the wrong one at first, they reimbursed all the postage and sent the correct one. When it didn't want to work at first, they offered to take it back, at their expense.
Summary: What I like about this printer and what brought me to decide to buy is that it is super economical because it uses cartridges and economics can print multiple pages with little money and besides that this is the scanner function.
Summary: I just bought my second MP130. The first one developed a problem after 4 years of home use. I bought another one because of the fact that it uses very inexpensive ink that I can buy on eBay. I've easily saved the cost of the printer in ink costs alone. It makes good copies and prints well. I don't need a fax, so the lack of one isn't a problem for me. Since this printer is discontinued, finding a good used one is getting harder to do, but it is worth the search.
Excerpt: I use the pictbridge feature mostly on this printer because it is so easy to use. I do a lot of high volume printing on this printer and I love the print quality. Another great feature is the affordable ink. I can purchase large quantities of cartridges at an affordable price. If you want a heavy duty printer consider buying this printer. You’ll start feeling the same way that I do. I am unable to live without it. Absolutely love it.
Summary: It is an inkjet printer just like any other in the market ... scans OK, prints OK, copies OK ... nothing to get excited about ... the one big difference though is that you can buy the set of cartridges, 1 color + 1 black, for US$ 5.00, I said FIVE dollars ... and they last pretty good ... So in one year, if you use as much ink as I do (about 1,000 pages every month), you save a bundle.
