Summary: I you want to use the wireless DO NOT BUY I bought this product based on the quality of Canon. In fact if the print quality is ok the wireless doesn’t work at all. it’s a nightmare. After several call with Canon and Geeksquad we thought that it was my printer. Amazon with their perfect customer service sent me a new one.....same issue....I had a old lexmark able to work in wireless with the same network and it was fine.
Best printer that has ever existed or ever will exist.

Summary: I've been using this thing for four months, and it has been great. (Except for the fact that it broke three weeks into ownership. I contacted Canon, and they quickly sent me a new unit and a complimentary set of ink cartridges.) Favorite Features: -Automatic power on: this let you print from anywhere in your wireless network even if the printer is turned off. It will turn itself on and complete your print job.
Summary: Its been a long time since we purchased a new printer so I wasn't sure how this would go. We are replacing a Lexmark x4650 and its been a good printer but this printer is fantastic. The setup on two computers one with windows 7 the other with windows 8.1 went as smooth as silk and took about 45 minutes and that's only because I made it more complicated then it was.
Great technical support included with this printer

Conclusion: I have always been a Canon camera fan and purchased this printer based on the past quality of Canon cameras. At first we were pleased; however after 8 months the print quality become bad. I tried to auto align and manually align the printer however nothing worked. I then installed new ink cartridges even though the other units indicated some ink remaining, however that did not help.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, fast print speed, easy to use
Summary: I am a long-time fan of Canon printers. Now that I can place the printer pretty much anywhere and have one less device connected via USB, I could not be any happier with these pluses added to the already great quality of a Canon multifunction printer.
Summary: Setup was easy, features are good. The only complaint is that its advertised as being compatible with "popular cloud services" or something like that, but its not compatible with Microsoft's OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive). Not a big deal since that's not something I was depending on, but it was disappointing, which is why I dropped it one star. They could make it clear in their ads exactly which services they support.
