  • Excerpt: When I was looking for a printer, there were so many printers models and makes to choose from that it made the task of choosing the right one a little bit difficult. I personally wanted a All in One Printer, a printer that can print, scan and copy all in one machine that didn't take up too much room on my desk.

Good while it lasted

Zippy, Amazon
7 February 2013
  • Summary: I had mine for two years, two months and then the print-head/logic-board failed. Now it's useless. The repair costs are far more than a replacement printer. You can Google B200 error to see how many other people have had this problem with Canon printers. I'll be buying an HP or an Epson to replace it. The printer was great until it failed - couldn't fault it. But I expect things to last more than two years.

A Good All-In-One Colour Printer

  • Excerpt: As I work from home I need to use a printer regularly. On November 2011 I came across a good offer of Canon MG5250 on Amazon website. After reading a few reviews and comparing the price I decided to give it a go. About Canon: Canon is a commonly known Japanese multinational corporation, which is specialised in the manufacture of imaging and optical products, including cameras, camcorders, photocopiers, steppers, computer printers and medical equipment.
  • Pros: great value for money
  • Cons: see review .

New printer not working

xuhaiwei, Pricerunner
31 October 2012
  • Summary: The printer is useless.
  • Pros: Since the printer did not work from the beginning I cannot judge this.
  • Cons: The provided manual did not address the errors that occurred during the installation. During installation the auto adjustment of the print head came up with an error message. The manual suggested to continue with the next installation step, however the menu was looping around the same problem several cycles. Finally the installation appeared to have worked, but the print quality was extremely poor. After some research on the internet I performed a nozzle test. 2 Color...

New Canon printer

Geoff, Amazon
19 September 2012
  • Summary: I checked on the "Which" report for a printer and this one came out very well. Easy to set up wirelessly and works extremely well. I wanted to stick with Canon quality and it lived up to my previous experience of Canon equipment.Excellent.

Excellent value for price.

T.J.Byford "TJ", Amazon
2 May 2012
  • Summary: Disappointed that my HP wireless all-in-one has malfunctioned after only 18 months of light use (it keeps telling me to add paper) I searched for an alternative wireless all-in-one, and latched on to this one from Canon as it was the right price and, importantly, used individual ink tanks that should lead to better economy.

Nice printer with some faults worth mentioning

GarethL, Amazon
15 December 2011
  • Summary: Generally I like this printer, the Wifi access and the copying features are good. However the 2 main faults I'd like to raise are: - Slow start up times from off. On the first print job the printer goes through a lengthy maintenance routine, which if you just want to quickly print off something like directions, is very frustrating. This wouldn't be so bad if this happened when the printer is switched on, but it seems to wait until the first job. - Eats ink.

Good Printer - Eats Ink

R. Carter "Par42", Amazon
22 November 2011
  • Summary: Had this printer for 4 months now and it has performed well as a network printer/scanner for 4 laptops in the house. However it seems to just eat ink - whenever it is turned on it goes off and does a head clean cycle of its own, leaving it powered up does not seem to have made much difference.... As a set of original Canon Cartridges cost £35 cheapest and the printer was just £79 so OEM here we come...
