Summary: When this printer times out into energy-saver mode, it does not come back up after receiving a print command and must be rebooted. Canon's technical support people gave me the run-around. First, they suggested I wire the printer directly to my PC without giving second thought to the fact that I bought their WIRELESS printer. Then, they suggested that my surge protector was causing the problem even though the printer powered on when plugged into it.
Summary: I purchased this copier because I have a canon monochrome printer at home that has worked very well for me. I purchased this particular model because it's operating system was suppose to work well with mac. I set it up with my mac mini at work and realized that it comes with automatic/default 2 sided printing. I needed one sided printing. I was unable to change this default setting. The manual is not clear or easy to understand.
Canon's literature is misleading! Canon refuses to suport it!

Summary: I purchased this printer after a lengthy investigation of it's specifications on Canon's website. I wanted to make sure that it could print via WiFi since there's multiple PCs at home that need to use it all day long (home schooled kids). Canon supplies the drivers on it's website for that. So I purchased it. Only after I installed the printer, downloaded and installed the drivers for it did I find out that it DOES NOT print wirelessly.
Summary: Length:: 1:19 Mins I bought the Canon Image class all in one mf5950dw, I did not care that the price was a little higher than the other non-wireless printers (about $100.00 more),nice looking device, but hard from the moment you open the box, from removing ALL the tape to installing, but the worse thing is that no matter what you do, the damn thing DOES not detect the paper, how hard is it for a printer to detect paper?
