Not ENTIRELY Mac Compatible
Summary: Described as being "Mac Compatible" (emphasis on the quotes), it's not completely Mac Compatible. I couldn't access the Multi-purpose tray - Canon Support said "Sorry, there are just some features you can't access with a Mac." Would downloading a driver help?
Summary: Great printer! We finally got rid of our old inkjet, because every time we used it the stupid print head was clogged, and it would waste half of a $30 cartridge to clear it and print one page. This Canon doesn't have that problem.
Printing quality is Good, Color is Average, Scanning = Poor

Excerpt: Prints Black and white is great, Color printing is average for laser printer. Copy Function works as it should but my complaint the the scanning resolution even at 300DPI the scans come out terrible and at times there is this streak of white line going down the page.
Pros: Color Bw Prints, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Professional
Cons: Large Footprint, Scanning function, Slow Print Time
Summary: The printer so far seems OK. The color quality is not what I'd hoped for, but I haven't really done a lot of printing yet. My issues so far: 1. In the box, there's some kind of cover with no markings on it.
Summary: I purchased this printer/copier for my business and though the hardware side seems good, the software is HORRIBLE. I spent about 45 minutes attempting to set up the copier when I first bought it, with no luck so I was forced to call tech support to help.
Summary: We had a 5 year old black & white laser Canon imageClass printer/fax/scanner/copier that worked great but decided it was time to upgrade to a color laser. This printer had decent reviews and lots of the features we needed (e.g. duplex printing and scanning) so we bought it.

Summary: I bought this printer/scanner/copier because it seemed to have good reviews. I also bought the recommended toner cartridges but they were not Canon. These toner cartridges (Hi-vision/Hi-yield) caused colored streaking on paper.
Summary: After almost two month, I love this printer. Moved from HP to Canon, so far very happy with printer and scanner performance connected to Apple Mac computers. Setup and even scanning through wireless connection like a charm.
Summary: Other than being a bit large, it was easy to setup and does everything I need it to do. It's not very loud and wakes up quickly from sleep. I've tested/used fax, scan, copy and print. No problems. I've installed it on several PC's, XP, Win7 and Server 2008 R2.
