Excerpt: I had a hard time getting it hooked up to my computer, but I called the technician at Cannon and they helped me in five minutes. I love this printer, it is fast and is just what I needed for my small office.
Conclusion: Had zero difficulty getting this unit up and running. Didn't even read the instructions at the time. Set up with ethernet cable and has been dead reliable and very very quick. I love the duplexing feature as well as the batch scanning. Looks professional too - like an office printer. I find it quite intuitive to use and have no real criticism except maybe for the fairly low scanning resolution - 600 DPI. Then again it's not designed to be a photo scanner so it's fine.
Conclusion: We have been using this printer for the past eight months and have found it to be reliable, fast, and not too difficult to operate. All in all, considering the low price, I think it is an excellent home printer/fax/scanner.
Conclusion: I have had this printer for about 9 months. it is my first laser printer and it functions very well for me. I print wireless off my computer and also do lots of copy and fax. I have a small insurance office and it serves me better than any machine I have ever had. Cannon support is fantastic - real people with real patience and can talk you through a problem in minutes. Quality printing and a cartridge last forever.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, High Quality Output, fast print speed, easy to use
Summary: This is a solid product. I had no issues with the hardware or the software installation. The only issue is that when I printr, the docu8ments shoot off the machine & there is no placeholder for them. But I can live with that. At $170 which i paid for it, it is an unbelievable value. You pay more for a lessor quality deskjet multifunction office product. Highly recommended.
Pros: quality of the print. ease of installation. valu
Excerpt: We had all Brother printers in our small office. In comparison, the Canon MF4880dw appears dainty and not as sturdy. Hopefully, it will last as long as the Brothers and no delicate plastic parts will break. It is also somewhat noisy and clunky. However, the print quality and speed is top notch. The wireless feature is nice and the toolbox used for scanning is easy to use. We all use blue ink, so the black & white scanning won't pick up the blue which is unfortunate.
