Summary: Since I got this for 99.00 and it is now 259.00 it will be better to just purchase a new multifunction printer. I had bought two and the other one is still working fine.
Pros: It worked great, copying, scanning, and faxing until recently.
Cons: This week we got error 202-200 which tells us to turn off and on the canon. This appeared as our employee was trying to scan. I figured out it might be part FK3-1153, the contact image sensor, that is faulty but I cannot find anyone that sells it to replace it.
Support Documentation impossible to find / Manual?

Conclusion: Trying to check on how to do some things, like reprint last fax. Under support/drivers can't find any manual or help options? giving up, wasting too much time trying to find help through their website. Overall happy with printer; figured out some of the tricky scan functions, with XP.
Pros: great quality, lots of functions, great price for features
Summary: Very fast and nice looking printer, just wish it was wifi ready. Print quality - fair. Copy, scan & printer output skews to the right. Install disk lacks printer driver for Mac, had to download most recent one from Canon website. Software also not very impressive.
Summary: It works great when it wants to. Very finicky. Hard to use software, it takes 10 steps to scan something into the desktop. Disappointed because my previous cannon worked effortlessly. The toner that comes with the unit flakes off the paper.
Conclusion: The hardware side of this device is exceptional. It prints quickly, goes to sleep quickly, and is completely silent when asleep. The print is crisp and clear, the scans excellent. The paper feeder is smooth and hasn't jammed yet.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Small Footprint, High Quality Output, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: Difficult to use, scanning is terrible, bad user interface, firmware is cumbersome for scanning, scans don't come out straight
Summary: I hate things that require effort. I therefore hate the network scanning function. It's strange. I have to go to the scanner and physically tell it to go into "remote scanner" mode (with ~3 button presses). In the depths of my mind I'm shouting at a kitchen table, "It's a software function!
Summary: This is possibly the worst all in one that I've ever owned. Printing quality is good, but if you need more than ten copies at one time you're out of luck because it's almost sure to jam; trying to insert the pages to do two sided is hit and miss because it almost always misses some of the pages in...
