Summary: I've used several of the Canon laser printers and love them! They work great and the software is not invasive or bulky. Super easy network installation too! Just setup the IP address on the printer, pop the disc into your PC, and it finds the printer! Easy as pie!
Summary: I was impressed when I first got it, then less impressed each time I use it. Installation is always a nightmare from driver recognition problems, and poor updates for newer versions of windows. Fax drivers never installs (not that I use it anyway). I need scanning as much as I need it for printing, but scanning is the worst nightmare. Using a Windows 8 machine, it fails over 95% of the times on the scan, giving me a communication error.
Summary: I only got the printer today, however installation was so easy. It worked right out of the box, very impressed. The only con is that the scanning will not work with Windows Server 2003. I was able to set it up to work on the Network for printing, very happy so far. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this machine and considered an HP but so glad I chose a Canon.
Bought two of these. Always good luck with Canon Laser printers

Summary: Bought two of these. Not WiFi but networkable via ethernet cable. Plan on installing a cheap switch if for use with ethernet if you don't have an extra lead. Installed ours via USB with a computer as print server (computer will need to be on for it to use). One office has a Win7 32bit print server, the other an old WinXP Pro print server. Had to log onto to each individual user to tell the printer where to send the scanned documents so all users can access.
Summary: Delivery was timely and everything in good condition. Setup was about 20 minutes. This printer is exceeding my expectations--it is very quick to begin printing (about 2 seconds for Word and Excel docs), and performs better than our old Xerox 4150 Workcenter (a $4000 machine). Have only used the Scan function and fax a couple of times without glitches.
Summary: I have had this printer for 1 year and have had issues with it since day one. We use the Windows 7 64 bit OS. This printer will go into sleep mode and then will not wake up if a document is sent to it. Other times it won't go into sleep mode at all, freezes up and won't print, copy or scan. I contacted Cannon's support line and they walked me through downloading their fix for the firmware. This fix was not effective and the printer still was unresponsive at random times.
Summary: I bought the MF4570dn with high expectations. In fact, the print quality and speed are great, and it is small and quiet. But when I started using the duplex printing feature, I got consistent paper jams that were very hard to clear, and left the paper in a neat accordian fold. So, I had to pony up an expensive return-shipping charge (yes, I bought it from an Amazon seller, but that's the deal), and bought a second unit, since I assumed I had got a lemon the first time...
