Summary: I don't print a lot with this unit, but it's in my classroom for the occasional job. The quality of the prints and copies is excellent, even better than the enormous unit in our production room. It's not as fast as some desktop printers I've used, but I've never felt like it was going to slow.
Summary: Tired of buying color inkjet printers and having the color ink dry up before you can use it? We were. Since we rarely used the color option, this kept happening. When I searched for printers, mostly color printers came up.
Summary: I bought this printer back in October 2010 and I must say that it's a workhorse. No complaints whatsoever. It prints well, photocopies even with the computer off, and scans pretty clear pictures.
Poor impressions out of the box; may grow on me over time.

Summary: From the start, let me say that I just got this printer out of its box and got it set up and am only beginning to explore the features and functionality of it. My first impression is that I have been somewhat mislead as to what this printer is, does, can do, and is supposed to do.
Summary: I own a small insurance agency, and this is my third purchase of this excellent multipurpose machine. We scan frequently and the flawless document feeder is the best I have found on any other brand of machine. The enclosed software allows saving the documents as PDF's which is a plus.
Summary: I liked it so much I bought two of them (one for me and one for a relative). It has a lot of features for the price and has so far (6 months) operated completely trouble-free. There are some minor negatives. If you have a Macintosh, as I do, you have to go to the Canon website and download drivers.
Summary: Got this in last night and it took twenty minutes from the time I un-boxed it, to the first test page. Why twenty minutes, you ask?
