Summary: I purchased the Canon MF4150 and it prints great with multiple features including automatic duplexing, ADF scanning, flatbed scanning, faxing, copying, etc. I purchased it in Dec 2008. However, now it has a little problem with the Fuser/fusing assembly. The toner is not getting properly melted onto the paper. I can tell by brushing my finger across the paper and my finger turns black with toner.
Summary: I purchased the Canon MF4150 in December 2007 and I must say, I have been pleased with it. I use my printer conservatively for home printing. I've been pleased with the output quality, except there was a time when I may get a light 1/4" line down the middle of a duplexed page. Somehow, it went away. Still duplexing is a great feature. I'm commenting today because of the price that they are offering this printer for. I paid $199.99 when I bought it.
Summary: I bought this to replace a HP 1012, which I gave to my brother. For $130, I have, at the least, a very good printer and copier. Just avoiding the inconvenience of going to a copying shop to copy a few pages is worth a great deal, particularly since I tend to procrastinate. I don't fax much, but faxing seems to work fine. I don't have a web site, so I don't need to scan. The duplex printing is a pleasure, but does not seem to work with .pdf files.
Summary: I sold off an HP flatbed scanner and an HP plain paper fax machine and put all my faith into this one machine. So far, it has not let me down. It has been serving my small home office for nearly 14 months, and I just replaced the original toner cartridge. That took less than a minute. There was but one paper jam in the whole time, and I cleared it in about 12 seconds. Printed output is both speedy and perfect.
Summary: After having so much trouble with my HP AIO and its cartridge carrier setup, I decided I needed something fast and reliable. I've only gotten minimal help from HP in replacing my original product and can say that I haven't had any problems with Canon products so far. This unit is more than adequate for my home based office, and with the increasing volume I'm experiencing, this fills the bill just fine.
Summary: I purchased this for my office and have not been disappointed so far. It scans well and the print quality is fine. It is convenient to use and easy to set-up. If there are any negatives, they are that the toner cartridge is small (only 1000 sheets) and that some of the scanning software could be better. But, even with those minor problems, this all-in-one has been well-worth the price.
Summary: I purchased this All in One to replace my old Apple Pro Laser Printer. The duplex printing ability was the feature that pushed me towards this printer. The printer works great - great copying / printing / have not tried it as a fax yet. The duplex feature works perfect and this is all from a used machine. If you are a mac user you will not be able to get as much function out of the machine as a pc user.
Summary: This is a great printer for all the features. What's great about it: -Copies faster than my older Lexmark printer/copier -Scans faster than my old machine -Copy and scan functions are easy to use -It is very quiet compared to the Dell Laser printer I also have -Double sided printing is great -After I got the printer working, I shared it from my XP machine and was able to print over the network from my Vista laptop with no problem.
