Summary: This is a great printer/copier/scanner, for all the reasons others give here. Easy to operate, performs flawlessly and at a decent speed, scans easily without any fuss, and isn't a toner hog. The only problem with it is that it does not work with the 64-bit version of Windows 7. I just bought a new desktop and found to my dismay that I could not a driver for the MF3110 because of this issue.
Summary: I wanted to let anyone know my experience. I have had this product since 2005. It has never failed me. I use it at home with my husband's small handyman business. We print invoices and letters. I print everything for the children. I scan and copy. I love this product and for the money, I am very pleased. I would most definitely buy another one.
Summary: I've had this multifunction Canon for a year now, and it's worth every penny (not that it cost much). I use it for light home office duties. Not only was the setup easy (essentially plug and play with USB), but it prints crisply and quickly. No jams yet, and I'm still on the toner cartridge that came with the printer. The copy function works quite well. I have not had occasion to use the scanner function much.
Summary: For the money, you cant beat this printer. It works as advertised! My kids would go through ink on a ink jet like it was water. But they now have been printing quality papers for school, without bugging me about the ink running low. I was spending 60 bucks every couple of months for ink. This laser printer was the best investment for me...it actually is saving me money.
Summary: I own this printer for about 8 months and I am realy happy with it. Printer settings could be more easy or the LCD monitor could be larger but you get used with it. I print hundreds of A4 everyday and paper jams happend only 2-3 times. This is a very good score! I do not use it as a scanner very often but scannings look great too. Fully recommended for home and office use.
Summary: I like Canon printers. This one in particular was a good price, works well, and I'm still on the "starter" ink cartridge hundreds of pages later. The scan function works better than I imagined. The one page feed is easy to use. I am now using this as my main printer, with our more expensive Canon delegated to my husband's use.
Summary: a 5 star rating is admittedly very high, but this multifunction machine merits them all on the basis of value. I am truly dumbfounded by the quality and features you get for such a low price. There is no catch, it is the real deal. Speedy, high quality black and white laser prints and a very capable scanner. Just what is needed for the SOHO environment. It replced my old NEC 870 printer which was a workhorse for 7.5 years before dying.
Summary: I recently bought this Cannon multi function laser printer/copier/scanner for my business and it has served me superbly. I did some extensive research before buying this printer to see which one best suite my needs. As a small business with moderate printing needs, I was looking for an affordable laser printer/scanner to print letters to my clients. After looking at all the printers out there, this Canon MF3110 was undoubtedly the one for me.
Summary: I had a crappy Epson inkjet printer (which I happily threw in the garbage!). If I didn't use it for a while, the nozzles would clog up. It was a piece of garbage nuisance. Although this Canon does not have color (it does scan in color though) I LOVE this thing. Truthfully, even though the pictures it prints are black and white, they blow the color Epson inkjet pics out of the water. It's not small (which is the only negative), but the QUALITY and SPEED are amazing.
