Summary: This is a great printer/copier/scanner, for all the reasons others give here. Easy to operate, performs flawlessly and at a decent speed, scans easily without any fuss, and isn't a toner hog. The only problem with it is that it does not work with the 64-bit version of Windows 7. I just bought a new desktop and found to my dismay that I could not a driver for the MF3110 because of this issue.
Summary: I have used the MF3110 for several years and have enjoyed the laser printing qualities. However, I just bought a new computer with Win 7 (64 bit) and per conversation Canon this printer will not run with this OS, nor do they plan to update the drivers.
Summary: Have had a Canon MF 3111 for close to three years and I love it. Yes the paper tray is just a bit flimsy. We are talking about a sub $200 printer here. Has a couple of its own unique limitations but this has been an amazingly reliable crisp and cheap printer for a long time. At the price we paid we expected a machine much less than this. Only have one complaint. We cannot get a driver for Windows 7 64 bit.
Summary: I wanted to let anyone know my experience. I have had this product since 2005. It has never failed me. I use it at home with my husband's small handyman business. We print invoices and letters. I print everything for the children. I scan and copy. I love this product and for the money, I am very pleased. I would most definitely buy another one.
Summary: Okay printer for the money. It has been frustrating at times since when leaving it on for extended periods of time the printer experiences frequent paper jams. In fact, at times the printer go into a paper jam mode even when a single sheet of paper has not even been pulled out of the paper tray.

Summary: I would say it jams only a little more frequently than I'd expect, which is mildly annoying, but overall this is a great printer for the price, especially with the ability to create pdf documents included. The image/print quality is good. We use this as our main office printer and scanner and probably print 50-100 sheets a day.
Summary: I concur with reviews above. I got this in, oh, July or August last year. I really pretty much have loved it, and it's great value for money; the scanner is perfectly good, it's a good laser printer, it's extraordinarily convenient having xerox capabilities in my home office. But the paper started jamming very regularly a few months ago, and the front cover kind of broke off so that I had to jam it on with my foot in order for it to print, and now it's definitively...
Summary: The performance of the MF3110 is okay (especially for the price) but I found that the durability was lacking--my died after 5 months and it would cost more to ship it and get it fixed than to buy a completely new one. Also, the output is not the sharpest compared to other b/w lasers.
Summary: After a few months I'm very satisfied with the unit. After buying a toner cart - it didn't come with one - it set me back about $135. That's not a bad price for just a printer let alone a 3 in 1 and the scanner works well as does the copy function. There has been one instance where it seemed like it had locked up and I had to unplug it to recycle but this may have been because there seems to be a significant wait time when switching functions - probably not enough...
