so good! The printer is exactly what it says it ...
Summary: So far, so good! The printer is exactly what it says it is: a small, desktop B&W laser unit for home office use. I print mostly lesson plans and master copies of worksheets, so probably print about a couple dozen papers each week. It prints very quickly and the automatic double-sided feature is great. It's easy to change to single side, if you prefer that (printer preferences), but the default seems to be double-sided.
Summary: I purchased this printer in order to cheaply print coupons. I had previously been using my HP All-in-One and the ink costs were making it not worth the coupon savings. The setup was reasonably easy, though shipping took 4x longer than was stated/expected. My big problem with this printer is that it is defaulted to print 2-sided and it is nearly impossible to change this.
I was tired of feeling ripped off when buying ink cartridges.

Summary: Wow. What a deal. I've been using it for months and still haven't needed to replace the cartridge with which it came. I've been so angry about how expensive replacement cartridges are for other printers (my cousin, who makes ink, says there's about 15 cents worth of ink in those things). You feel a bit held hostage to it all and I've been resentful.
this product is inexpensive (I paid like 49. 95 for it)

Summary: OMG, this product is inexpensive (I paid like 49.95 for it), and it totally does black and white in a LASER PRINT and does duplexing. Since I print much more black and white than I do color, this printer saves me lots of money. Just like at work, I have the black and white for most things and I have a Canon PIXMA MP495 for those rare times I need to print color.
Excerpt: I installed this at our hotel front desk....talk about heavy duty workhorse : )) i have another printer (hp office jet all in one) and i wanted to take the workload off of that one for b/w prints. I love this printer, its super fast, just a few seconds from when you press the print button on the screen by the time you have the print out in your hand. I hot this on sale + some coupons. It was a bargain. I wish it had been wireless, none the less..
Summary: As they say, "Works as advertised." This replaced an ancient HP laser. No issues installing or using. Only complaint is it does not remember that it was turned on when the system was shut down so you need to remember to turn it on every time you start up. If you forget and go to print something you won't see it's offline until after you hit print. No problem, just turn it on and Win7 will see it and start printing.
Summary: I got this on time (great 2 day shipping!) It was an easy set up and installation. It works great. I'm impressed with the print choices, including front and back printing, split page printing, and the ability to allow for right margin enlargement for book binding. I would recommend to anyone looking for a black and white laser printer.
Summary: This is a really fast printer for the cost. It does a great job in my home office. I have used several much more expensive printers in my other office, but when I went on my own and needed something simple, small, and cheap, this one definitely is the best I could find. Never a problem with it yet. I print mostly half page labels with this and have never had a problem yet. It is easy to stick a label in the front and it prints pretty fast too.

I didn't need all the bells and whistles(scanner, copier, color) Just equipment that turned out clear professional looking copy..which my Cannon does!
