Worked well, then broke

Mitias O., Newegg
26 October 2014
  • Summary: I was brave enough to try again with a 2nd unit of the EXACT same. Maybe this one will work better.
  • Pros: It makes decent quality copies, and is moderately fast in doing so.
  • Cons: Within a month of owning, it started jamming 1 in 10 copies, then 2 in 10, then 5 in 10, then 9 in 10. There were no obstructions or obvious defects in the mechanism, but it simply jams 9 in 10 pages. (We tried the obvious, cleaning the rollers, changing paper type, etc).

Software and Drivers 1 Star, Printer 4 Stars

Skyhawk, Amazon
15 June 2014
  • Summary: Macintosh recognized the printer instantly, Windows took longer requiring a download of drivers. Before starting a scan from your computer, you MUST press the "Scan" button on the multifunction device and then select "Remote Scanner" from the multifunction device's menu.

Ok if you want a low cost copier/printer/scanner and are not picky about print quality.

Debra Stewart, Amazon
13 October 2013
  • Summary: I bought the Canon D1350 to replace my Canon ImageRunner 2016. The 1350 is not as good as the 2016. I copied a catalog page on both machines. Then I printed a typed document from my computer on both. The 2016 print is darker, sharper, and thicker. The 1350 was lighter and not as good.

Not happy

Arleen F. Cox, Amazon
16 March 2013
  • Summary: This item had to be replaced after one week because the auto document feed didn't work. The replacement one didn't work too well either.
