Conclusion: Very busy office setting. We have utilized many other brands and the overall quality, speed, and ease of use of this printer is excellent. The staff's favorite feature is the extreme quickness that this machine has on first print after being idle. It has interfaced well with a variety of software applications. Crooked prints or scans are mostly operator error. This drawback, also reported by others, has been found to be the auto feed function.
Summary: Because I had to make a lot of copies these days (and couldn't use my big copier), I bought a D1120 as an extra help for my five year old D1150. I chose the d1120, because there for no need for a fax. Pro Copying is as good as with the D1150. I made some 80000 (eighty thousand) copies on the small copies the last few weeks. There are hardly problems. Sometimes a paper comes wringled half out. Just take it out, open and close the front cover and you are ready to go on.
Summary: Why did I wait so long to get a new printer? This bad girl is awesome. I don't need a fax but the printer, scan copy functions are wonderful. It hooked up easily to the network via ethernet cable so I can print from any device in the house as well as my phone or tablet. Love the 2-sided printing to save paper. Handles envelopes well. You can put a whole ream in here, not just a half ream like so many others. And its a Canon, baby. they know how to build printers.
Summary: Oh my gosh! This is one sexy machine! Totally easy to figure out. Instructions are easy to understand. If anyone has tried previous "home"printers and has slaved over having to flip this, change the paper to copy on the other side let me tell you!!!! This machine does wonders! A typical print/copy at our home would be someone right there at the machine because they were sooooo tempermental. This baby .... nope. Its like "I got this!
