Summary: We've had this copy machine for a little over a year now and it has not failed us. It occasionally gets paper jams, but the instructions on the screen tell you exactly where the jam, is which is super helpful. The paper gets extremely hot if you're running a lot of copies, so beware of that. And in the winter it is an electric magnet. Every time I would touch it, I would get a really intense zap! But these things are probably circumstantial.
Summary: For what we use it for it is great. It scans well, not super fast but well. The first page out is actually pretty quick when it comes to printing or copying. The rollers that pick up the paper is the only thing we have had clean or it stops picking up paper after a long while. Otherwise, met what we expected it to do.

Summary: I accept the fact that many of these copy machines have a life span of 2 years and then need replacing. But a life span of 2 weeks seems sparse. The paper feeder started to malfunction after 2 weeks of very light use. Needless to say, I returned the product. While Brother copiers at similar price points are not much better, at least they can withstand a good 18-24 months or moderate use.
Summary: The printing & scanning are really fast. But the direct print from USB won't read PDFs, so that feature is basically worthless. Also, I can't figure out how to print 1-sided in Adobe Reader. The printer somehow overrides the settings so that you can't even see the option to change it to one-sided printing.

Summary: Bought this machine in October 2013. In November 2014, it began to display issues with freezing and not responding. Calls to Canon resulted in instructions to unplug the unit, wait a couple of minutes, and then restart. Now it won't start at all, local repair shop said motherboard is shot, and suggested we talk to Canon. They indicated warranty has expired and they are sorry.
Conclusion: Very busy office setting. We have utilized many other brands and the overall quality, speed, and ease of use of this printer is excellent. The staff's favorite feature is the extreme quickness that this machine has on first print after being idle. It has interfaced well with a variety of software applications. Crooked prints or scans are mostly operator error. This drawback, also reported by others, has been found to be the auto feed function.
Summary: Simply amazing printing, and copying. Super fast printing and easy to setup. I have found the networked scanning and printing to bit difficult when printing or scanning from a Mac. I've had to remove and re add the printer a few times. Still ten times better than any other networked printer I have used. I would totally recommend for a Black and White workhorse.
Summary: Because I had to make a lot of copies these days (and couldn't use my big copier), I bought a D1120 as an extra help for my five year old D1150. I chose the d1120, because there for no need for a fax. Pro Copying is as good as with the D1150. I made some 80000 (eighty thousand) copies on the small copies the last few weeks. There are hardly problems. Sometimes a paper comes wringled half out. Just take it out, open and close the front cover and you are ready to go on.
