Summary: I am quite happy with this printer. The set up and manuals are HORRIBLE but once configured and in use I have no complaint. Preferring to save money I have been ordering remanufactured/refilled Print Cartridges and have found they vary considerably depending on where purchased.
Summary: I will make this short and sweet. First off, I had this thing online in about 10 minutes on two computers. I read a post in regards to needing to cycle power after you make changes and this is true. And yes, it is a pretty stupid feature and I can see this being a problem in an office environment.
Summary: I bought this printer because I was tired of inkjet printer that are always running out of ink or breaking. My old inkjet printer would squirt ink into an internal tray at intervals to keep the ink in the tubes or nozzles from drying. This would wake me up, or was otherwise irritating.
Summary: We've had this printer for a little under a week now. Pros: -Amazing print quality. On par with the Canon inkjet photo printer it replaced. -Amazing scan quality, again on par with the Canon flatbed it replaced. -Network printing tested from OSX Lion and Mountain Lion, works fine.
Summary: It works very nicely once you learn how to use it and try to remember all the steps for each and every function. This would have gotten 5 stars if it were not so cumbersome. The purchase and shipping were great, very quick and the price was very reasonable.
Summary: Nice unit. Print quality is excellent. I havent had the unit long enough to judge the toner life but the quality is great. Scanner works well as well. Can't comment on the fax capabilities as I do not use it. Wireless connectivity works flawlessly.
Exceptional Printer for Windows but Mac is a Challenge

Summary: I had a Brother MFC and an Oki color printer which I replaced with this one machine. I travel a lot and wanted a machine that duplexed so that I would have to carry less paper. After looking through all the reviews and price-points, I decided on the Canon MF8380Cdw.
Summary: Pros: This is a sweet printer. I use it for labels, flyers, busness cards, and general printing. Also for scanning. I have not yet tried faxing. Set-up was easy; I use this wirelessly only. Being able to print double-sided is a lot nicer and valuable a feature than I thought it would be.
Summary: Pros: Lots of functions, excellent BW and Color quality. Solid small business machine and a bit faster wireless printing than the specs claim. When it's proved itself for a few months, I'll amend my review. Cons: The cartridges are bit pricey, but still within the average range for laser printers.
