Too bad, I quite like their cameras

Summary: Bought this at a busy time. Spent hours trying to install it, follwing the directions meticulously. My WiFi network cannot find any sign of the device. I went to the Canon site and uploaded the most recent drivers following directions and tried to install them. No sign of success.
Prints great, WIFI lost when sleep, canon's site blows

Summary: I purchased this printer at frys for a great price, has all the features I was looking for, mainly auto feeder, dupexing, and wifi. The printer itself works great, makes great copies, blah, blah, blah. The beef I have with it is that WIFI disconnects when the printer goes into power saving mode.
Summary: The physical setup is pretty much a breeze, but after that it goes down hill. As a printer, it works great. The scanning function, especially using a Mac on a peer-to-peer network is convoluted.
Summary: I bought this to replace a Brother MFC8860dn black & white MF laser printer, as I needed color capability. The print quality and speed are fine for the price, but the thing has its share of cons.
Summary: This is probably a great printer for Windows users. The print quality is good and the printer has a lot of features. I use Macs, and I figured the problems noted prior to the Fall 2012 driver release had been addressed by that new driver.
Wow Not MAC friendly, Woeful Lack of Support by Canon
18 September 2012
Summary: The printer works great connected to ethernet/wireless for our Windows Dell. The frustration is that there is no ability to print off of our macs. We have three office locations and have all experienced a complete lack of support for using this printer with Apple Macs.
Summary: This printer is not for you if you do a lot printing with different type of paper and different sizes (envenlope) OR switching from multipurpose tray to drawer 1. It does not auto detect or have priority. Computer settings and printer settings does not communicate well.
Summary: To whomever finds this useful, This printer has the potential to be one of the best All-in-One printers on the market. The features are amazing, the speed is amazing, and the clarity is awesome.
Summary: I have a MacBook running OS X 10.8.3. After setting up the printer as instructed, and installing the drivers, it wouldn't print my letterhead template without leaving a blue overlay on the pdf graphic I use.
