Pros: Small footprint. Very satisfied with ease of installation. In the past, I had always hooked my printers up with a USB cable. I was amazed and very pleased with the simplicity and accurateness of the instructions for a wireless install. I am plus 70 senior and I was able to install without hitch.
Conclusion: My last printer was a Canon inkjet which still runs fine after 6 years. But it gradually dawned on me that a laser would have lower operating costs, and other advantages. I wanted another Canon, and was able to get this one at a killer price. It prints much faster than my old printer.
Excerpt: This printer is a great value for all-in-one multifunction printer. Scanner capability software implementation are much better than previous versions. Front panel is greatly improved over older models when extended capabilities that are usable. I would recommend this printer.
Excerpt: It was exactly what I was looking for in a laser printer. It has all the functions that I needed. The automatic duplexing and envelope printing makes it heads and shoulders above the Samsung we used to have.
Conclusion: I have not used this faxing, but routinely print and scan with this printer over wireless home network. Works great. Scan function can be slightly tricky but not hard to learn. Setup and user guide doc that comes with printer are top notch.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, High Quality Output, fast print speed
Excerpt: Seems like a good printer so far. Setup was fairly easy. Even set it up to print wirelessly was not a problem. Installed software. All worked. Then checked to see if there was updates for firmware and software, which there was. Did firmware update wirelessly with no problems.
