Excerpt: I hate this printer. There's only one option to load envelopes into the multi-purpose tray and it jams constantly. It took me several days to get through printing 20 envelopes. Another issue I have with it is half of the person's name on the envelope is randomly coming 1/2 color and the 1/2 of the...
Excerpt: The imageCLASS MF8280Cw printer is a truly professional printer, for a knowledgeable and astute user. I have been using this printer for over a year, and am quite pleased with the quality of the printer, and, most of all, the quality of the printed page that it produces.
Summary: So far so good...a little annoyed that scanning from a Mac requires changing the settings on the scanner so it can 'hear' the scan request, but if that's as bad as it gets, it's a good buy...print quality is solid.
Summary: I usually stick with HP for the simple reason that the ink was available at all the major retailers in my area. I have not owned a Cannon in a very long time but I am impressed already.
Pros: In building and configuring computers for the last 20 years this is by far the EASIEST component I have installed EVER. It was literally follow the step by step instructions, put the CD in the computer, and take the standard set up options. It even configured the firewall for the LAN setup. WOW!
Cons: this printer is huge! I wanted something that would stand up to two students and an executive who works from home. Summary: I purchased this printer to replace a Epson color inkjet multi-function printer in Feb 2015, and love it. It's pretty quick to wake up from sleep mode and the print quality matches my previous inkjet printer for both documents and photos.
Summary: I received the printer a day early and it was in great condition. Easy to set up. I didn't realize if I didn't have the internet that I needed a USB cord to connect it to the computer and it didn't come with one so I was a little bummed because I had to wait to print things from the computer.
Once you get your printer you have only begun to spend time and money.

Summary: I noticed that a new toner cartridge cost around $90. I thought for laser quality it might be worth it. I did not notice that there are 4 toner cartridges. So be aware that new ink will cost you around 150% of the price of the printer. Then setting up was misery.
