Summary: Have had this printer for a little over 2 years and it has proven to be an excellent investment. I use this for both letter and ledger size paper, to print documents and technical drawings in B&W and color as well as to scan. I have not used the fax feature at all. Printing. Prints Word, Excel, etc, quite quickly. Can duplex from either tray, as well as print booklets automatically. Paper jams are rare, but when they do occur have been easy to clear.
Summary: This is 1 of 4 Brother All in Ones that I purchased for several office locations. Love the scan program called Paper Port by Nuance. Would highly recommend the series. Six months ago I bought the smaller version that doesn't have 2 paper trays the 4510.
Summary: Price was great. Speed is okay but recovery time before changing sheets when doing copies is a little slow. This will do tabloid/ledger size sheets when printing or copying and that is really useful to me when working on construction drawings. Not too noisy but shakes some what when working.
Economical - One of the Smartest Purchases I've Made

Summary: I work in design and needed an alternative to the print shop. We're too small of an office to purchase a large format plotter. This printer allows us to print and scan 11x17 in house. The ink is cheap. The printer works. We've had it 9 months now without a jam. If we need high quality prints, we will go to the print shop, but for 95% of our prints, this has been a wonderful machine. It's saved us time and money.
Summary: Pros: Nice range, WiFi printing works well, Has double-sided printing! Cons: Scanner driver doesn't seem to work with WiFi. Without cable you need to use flash drive. If flash drive has pictures, it switches modes and tries to read the contents to ask if you want to print your pictures, instead of scanning. Nags about ink cartridges being empty even when they aren't.
Broken unit out of the box... would not accept black ink cartridge.

Summary: This printer came in broken. After having the Brother tech come out, we were charged over $100.00 to fix it. Then we had the same problem a few days later. So, now we wait for warranty work which should have been done in the first place.
