Summary: Good printer. I am not able to get the printer to receive a fax unless I pay to have another line installed. I wish I knew that before I bought it. I would have bought the printer/scanner instead. I did encounter a Brother support person who do not seem very experienced which was frustrating.
Summary: Pretty happy with it, although it is a little complicated. Sometimes the wireless won't reconnect unless I turn it off and on again. Bought it because of the double-sided printing feature, but can't seem to figure out how to work it. No easy buttons for that. Otherwise it's good. Have used Brothers for years and much happier than any other printer, especially those HP disasters.
look fine. I paid less for this printer than one ...

Summary: After spending over $4,000 each on Ricoh B/W ledger-sized printers, we found this. It is more than enough for proof pages for my clients and letters, fliers, etc., look fine. I paid less for this printer than one ink cartridge for the Ricoh. Am I happy? You bet. If it wears out, I'll just get another. We now have two.
Hooked up easily and quickly to my wireless network.

Summary: This is an early review as I've had this printer for only a few weeks. The first thing that impressed me was that, using the supplied disc, the printer connected quickly and without any difficulty to my wireless network. A miracle if there ever was one. I like the large capacity paper tray and how the printer is thriftier than most with expensive ink. It also has a large, 12 x 17" scanning bed. I have more to learn about this printer but so far it is looking good.
Excerpt: In September our work horse of a printed died after 4 plus years. Looked through Consumer Reports and found what sounded like the perfect four in one printer for our office. Low cost per page, good speed per page, excellent ink cost per month...all for about $200. It's all true. Easy set-up, great print quality and fast. I especialy like the reminder on my desk top about the ink level status. In the past the printer would simply stop without warning of low ink.
