Summary: Perfect for traditional animators. Large format scanner allows for hard copies of standard anim paper ("11.5-"13) to be scanned in through an ADF. While wireless communication between printer and computer are wonderful, printer works much faster with a hard line connection. Printer also is controllable through a phone app.
Summary: I loved this all in one printer. The ink lasts a long time and it has a large scanner bed. It also is alot easier to use than my old HP Multifunction printer its the best deal out of all the Brothers.
Summary: I have a home office from which I do landscape designs. The 11x17 printer and flatbed scanner on this "little" unit are AWESOME. I use them DAILY. Never a jam, never an issue, ink is TREMENDOUSLY less expensive compared to the 11x17 HP I used for years. I say "little" in reference to the price. It's a big machine, but must be in order to have this large flatbed scanner. Little means, to me, how little it took from my pocketbook. And how simple it is for me to use.
Outstanding value, especially for a large-format scanner

Summary: Okay, I didn't buy this for its printing capabilities (and I'm sure it's great for that). I bought it because it is by far the most affordable 11x17 scanner on the market. And it absolutely does the job. I had some very old material that size (printed on newsprint, so it was kind of rough and hard to handle) and this machine fed a total of about 250 11x17 pages (in small batches twice, once for each side) through its automatic document feeder VERY reliably.
Summary: For the money, this unit is the best multi-function printer I have ever owned. The duplex function and large 11x17 image platform make this inexpensive inkjet printer a real bargin. I love the easy networking function, and the on-printer LCD screen makes any copy-specific settings very quick to adjust. I have already recommended this to family an friends.
Summary: Pros: Easy to operate once set up, great scan-to feature that works every time, good printing quality, and last but not least reasonably priced ink Cons: Large footprint (but then again - I didn't buy it for its looks), setup takes a bit of time. I replaced a HP all-in-one because of many issues all of which are non-existing with this Brother model.
