Summary: This is a decent printer scanner for the price. It's not great quality, but it's nice to be able to print and scan at 11x17. Be warned though, this printer has some frustrating issues that will prevent me from ever buying a Brother printer again: -It cleans itself late at night, even if it has been switched off, which slowly uses ink. -It will not print if it does not have ink in all cartridges.
Summary: There is a problem with this printer's color management. Trouble shooting tips do not match up to printer options on Mac OS 10.6 programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, or Acrobat. Took tech support several hour, 5 different people and two days to help me adjust colors on Photoshop, but still nothing that could be permanently set.
Summary: I bought this printer because of its claim that it could print 11X17 prints. These sheets, when I load them and try to print, jam up the printer every single time. The letter size printing and scanning is fine, but if you are thinking of buying this for larger prints, please do not because this product doesnot do what it claims.

Summary: Well I am wondering what to do with this thing. The pluses: It scans in A3. The ink is not too dear, compared to most. It prints A3. The scan feed works quite well to scan multiple pages into a single document. If these things are important to you, ok. If not, do not go near it. Paper jams, regularly. Do not try photo paper. Do not try card. Actually, do no try regular A4 either. Certainly do not try A3. Wi-Fi. Never got it to work. It's USB for me I'm afraid.
Summary: Delivery was frought - not delivered during the advised delivery window - had to contact the delivery co to arrange - a week later. The printer works OK but the computer network connection is faulty - but the Wi-Fi facility works so I am making do with that.
Summary: I have had this printer for almost a year now and was generally fairly pleased with it - the wireless connection is generally good although it sometimes drops out. Print quality is ok - particularly good for A3 plans which I print fairly frequently. However, I am SO frustrated by the constant paper jams for A4 paper. It happens 90% of the time and is driving me to replace this machine altogether. Not recommended.
Summary: I bought this machine as it did all I required, write ups were very good and the price was resonable. Unfortunately, there was a paper jamming from the outset when copying more than one copy. After reporting the fault I was asked to take to a local Brother servicing company. They did a repair. The same fault occured immediately. Amazon replaced the original machine with a new one. Again unfortunately, the same thing happened to this machine.
Not great if you want anything other than simple A3 printing

Summary: I purchased this printer as I have the occasional requirement to print A3 - mainly CAD drawings - and to be fair it does this basic black & white printing well. However, the colour printing is poor compared to the A4 Canon printer I have - which is a standard printer, not anything expensive or special. The reproduction of colour is very disappointing. The scanning results are also poor.
Summary: I have used Brother Inkjet printers for a number of years After several years excellent service I decided to uprate to a Brother MFC-J65100W I am very unhappy with several aspects of this printer A.It jams virtually every day even though I use the correct paper and the printer has been set up properly B.It appears unrealiable and seems very noisy The quality of the product is nothig like the pinkrevious Brother printers we have purchased (we have 7 in use right now) I...
