Summary: We have had this machine since September 2013; which is about 10 months ago. It did fine at first, though the picture quality was horrible! All the reviews we had read said picture quality was roughly the same as drug store prints, but that was far from the case!
Summary: Printer constantly has paper jams. No paper stuck anywhere the sheet not left the try, paper jam. If not that its streaking ink acroos the page. I had good experience with my previous brother printer but i am going back to HP after this was of money.
Summary: Mechanical breakdown after about 250 printed sheets of paper. Luckily for brother I don't print that often and its out of warranty. Tech support said they'd be happy to sell be another one at full price. Stay away.
Summary: I bought this unit strictly to print on 11x17 paper. This machine is constantly jamming and is very finicky. It is almost useless - and I mean that. I am very frustrated that I have to buy a replacement. I always had really good experiences with Brother products, so I am a bit shocked.
Summary: Well, I only tried this machine because my big brother the tech expert, who is hardly ever wrong, recommended it. The black ink gets clogged and won't print out on occasion. This has happened twice now in a two week period.
Summary: I have the following three failures with this printer: 1. Scanning: The first day I received it I had to spend TWO HOURS on the phone with tech support to get it to scan; they had to "bump my problem up" two tech guys to find one who could solve the problem.
Summary: Save yourself's the trouble and stay AWAY from this printer. It is garbage and an inferior product. After 2 years with I have only replaced the black ink just to tell you that printer is not being over worked.
My husband hates it so much he threw it on the floor.

Summary: My husband is a fairly quiet man. But this printer really got to him. Over the course of the past 6-7 months it has had so many problems on a daily basis that printing and scanning became a chore in our office. I don't even know where to start.
