Summary: One of the few 11x17 scanners I've been able to find that wasn't marketed to commercial use only. I like it. Good quality. Printing could be better but I bought this almost solely for the scanner so I don't really care than much.
Summary: Mechanical breakdown after about 250 printed sheets of paper. Luckily for brother I don't print that often and its out of warranty. Tech support said they'd be happy to sell be another one at full price. Stay away.
Summary: I am thrilled with this printer. Printing and Scanning up to 11x17 docs is awesome. I use it for work and have to print and scan a lot of engineering drawings and need good detail. This unit provides both. It also can fax, but I don't have a line hooked up to it, so I can't comment on that feature. I've been using my first one for two years now. Liked it so much we bought another one for our office and our engineering department bought an upgrades model with 11x17 tray.
Summary: Perfect for traditional animators. Large format scanner allows for hard copies of standard anim paper ("11.5-"13) to be scanned in through an ADF. While wireless communication between printer and computer are wonderful, printer works much faster with a hard line connection. Printer also is controllable through a phone app.
Summary: These printers work well! The drivers are easy to set up wireless. However the refurb version I got, had tapes that stuck to the printer.... Yah I can see what people mean about the color, but then again we don't really need pretty colors... Works well for a small start up engineering firm!
Summary: I bought this unit strictly to print on 11x17 paper. This machine is constantly jamming and is very finicky. It is almost useless - and I mean that. I am very frustrated that I have to buy a replacement. I always had really good experiences with Brother products, so I am a bit shocked.
