Summary: It is a multifunction Printer But also is time and labor intensive
Pros: Ink is cheap scan and wireless ez to network
Cons: Involuntary double and triple feeds are common ink cartridges stick and hard to change. Photo printing 8 X 11 dose not allow duplex for 2 side photo brochures It requires constant Cleaning when printing photo approx. every 8 sheets.
Summary: I bought this printer about a year and a half ago, so this review is based on a lot of time dealing with this bad boy. The first couple of months, this thing was great. It did everything it was suppose to--printed stuff--just great. Then things started to change.
Summary: Though I fear these All-In-One devices from long experience, I bought this printer to complement my wonderful HP1020, which can't handle 1) color printing, 2) scanning, or 3) copying. Guess what? I still fear these All-In-One devices. My wife wants to know when we're getting a good color printer.
Pros: Scanning works fine. Have not used faxing yet, and probably never will. Wireless connection works fine, although it seems you have to load the software on every PC that wants to use the printer wirelessly on its own.
Cons: How do I hate thee, Brother J625DW? Let me count the ways. 1. The ink cartridges last barely a few weeks, esp color. I know these deskjet-type printers use up more ink, but this thing drinks like a drunken sailor's parrot. When my HP1020 Laserjet runs out of ink after a year and what seems like t...
Summary: Don't waste your time and money like i just did.
Pros: None that i can see, if the driver won't install
Cons: The printer DOES NOT Support Windows 8. The drivers will not install no matter what you do and if you call in the blame Microsoft and refer you to them. They even sent me a link from their site saying they don't support the issue.
Summary: This printer has decided to stop printing, despite all trouble-shooting methods as outlined by the manual and the website... New ink was loaded, and it faded out completely immediately after that. All the cleaning processes just don't work. This is pathetic.
Summary: I got this printer through my company. I've used it with three Windows computers: two using Windows 7, one using Windows 8. I have an AT&T U-verse wireless router and I (try to) use this printer's WiFi feature. I have three main problems with this printer: 1. The ink doesn't last.
Summary: I hate this printer. My biggest issue of contention I have with this printer are the ink cartridges. There are 4 separate ink cartridges, black, yellow, magenta and cyan. If you run out of ANY one of the color cartridges you CAN'T print in black ink only.
Pros: Good price, Good specs for ink utilization and print speed
Cons: Despite featuring a Mac logo on the box, this machine won't even print, let alone copy scan or fax on my iMac. CDROM will not install on Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8). CUPS software from the Brother site downloaded and claimed to install successfully, but then showed a "software not available for...
