Summary: I loved this printer while it worked. Small size, all the features I wanted, affordable. Unfortunately it began printing black pages and despite multiple print head cleanings, nothing could get the black ink flowing. From what I see online this is not an uncommon issue. I called Brother and they had a tech take me through all the cleanings over again. After it failed to work, I was told that due to the two year warranty, they would send me a new upgraded model, free.
Summary: After having sworn off HP forever (long story, but I am sure that there is some kind of compatibility issue or curse between myself and their products), so I decided to give this Brother a try. It was super simple to set up with my wireless router because it has the fast set-up feature. The print quality is very good, it is not too slow, it is more compact that my HP all-in-one and much quieter.
Summary: i bought this machine after having major problems with hp 4500 wireless all in one machine. This brother set up was a snap as a fax and wireless shared printer. Highly recommend this machine after a frustrating experience with the hp. Hope this helps somebody else. I have now had this machine for several months excellent performance still highly recomend.
Summary: I have recently purchased this as a wireless network printer on a home network. Installation and set up was very easy. I set this up on four home computers without any difficulty at all. The print quality is very solid and the printer is quiet. The scanner is easy to use as well and the provided software is easy to navigate. I have printed a few pictures and the quality is average at best, but this is not why I bought this printer.
Great multifunction machine, easy setup, ok paper tray.

Summary: I actually bought this printer on sale at a local store for $70 dollars. I bought it to replace a Brother 440cn that I had for 4 years. The document feeder on that machine stopped working and for the price and many extra features, I decided to get the J615w. I've had many printers over the years and currently have an HP photosmart that I bought because It had better photo printing than my old brother.
Summary: Bought the 615w to replace an old Canon inkjet. After using it for a few months, some opinions are described below. Bottom line: would recommend this for home or small business use. Pros: Solidly built; Very good photo output; Excellent scanning and printing; Wireless works great; Price Cons: Print speeds are GREATLY exaggerated.
Summary: I have to say I just got my new Brother today and so far I love it. I had a Kodak and had nothing but trouble with it from day one. This one has some cool features, like printing out preview pages if u want, makes it easier to pick out the photos that u want to print the quality of the print for photos is great.........
Summary: Usually I'd have bought this MFC from Amazon. However due to a sale it was less expensive to purchase at my local box store. My cost was under $70 for the unit, and it was well worth it. This is a network MFC, and can connect as wired or wireless to a home or small business network. There is bundled software for Mac and PC operating systems. I have been able to install and get full functionality with Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP PC's and MAC laptops.
Summary: Great printer for the price. The functionality and quality is exactly what you would expect from an all-in-one. The software is not over encumbering (should you choose to install their suite). Scanning works great whether you are using the document feed or the manual scanning and always picks up the details needed in my documents.
