Summary: I have owned this for close to a year. I love the cheap ink cartridges from Amazon that are only about a buck apiece. They have worked fine for me - but the colors may not be quite as good as factory. The wireless setup was a breeze for me, and I print to this from all over my house through wireless. I have occasionally had paper feed issues, but no more than any other printer.
Great wireless printer and the after market ink is dirt cheap!

Summary: I didn't buy this on Amazon, but I wanted to say that it is a great printer. All the features of the printer are easy to use and it hasn't given me any issues for the past year that I have owned it. The software that came with it is easy to use and configure. This printer even has an app for my android phone allowing me to print from my phone. Not that I use it often, but it has come in handy.
BEST Small printer on the market, perfect for small-medium jobs

Summary: This printer has won me over to the Brother brand, after it has ran for hundreds of pages on my first ink cartridges. Small, inexpensive printers are known to make up their cost in ink, and the Brother MFC-J10w not only has comparativly cheap ink available in-store, but amazon can sell you DOZENS of compatible ink cartridges for under $10!
Summary: I got my money back when my $350 HP unit quit working with the insurance I had purchased. Took $60 and bought a "cheap" Brother printer. (it's now over $100 I see) anyway it's GREAT. Cheap ink that runs a long time. I make color flyers and all sorts of stuff with it. Down with HP and their corporate hype/crap. Long live Brother, a good product at a fair price.
Summary: I bought this printer at Office Max for $73.95 and they even threw in a ream of printer paper! Look around and get it significantly cheaper. This machine is EXCELLENT. Very quiet in operation and performs as advertised. I would highly recommend this machine, just not from Amazon!
Summary: Its generally a great printer..You can get non genuine cartridges for it which work exceptionally well and cost a fraction of the cost. I think if you were using genuine brother stuff, it would get expensive, but I don't and wont! Have printed around 5000 pages to date. No jams, no issues whatsoever..Brother printers are awesome and I swear by them.
Summary: I bought this printer when there was a big discount one month ago. It's so easy to set up, including the wireless. Every function has been working out pretty well. The instruction is well written, easy to follow. It prints fast and quiet, with good printing quality. The machine looks nice too. So worth the money I paid. Too bad it will be a discontinued item soon from the manufacturer.
Summary: So my last printer (dont remember the brand) i had for a few years and it started acting weird so it was time ot replace it. I have a small business with no employees so i didnt need a $500+ all in one printer. I had a coupon at Office Depot and got this printer for like $80 about 3 months ago. I dont use it a whoile lot so im still on the ink that came with the printer.
Summary: Just upgraded from the HP 5610 all-in-one to this printer and I love it! My first Brother printer and also my first wireless printer. It feels like good quality, has some cool features like the SD card slot in the front you can just pop in your card and print directly from it. The paper tray layout is great and paper doesn't fly out of the tray like it did on my old printer. Very easy access to the inter part of the printer for fixing paper jams (haven't had any yet).
