Excerpt: I have used this printer for 1.5 years. I have to constantly clean the drum because of "spots" when printing for the last year. Requires WAY TOO MUCH cleaning time, and spots are almost impossible to get rid of. It now says I need to replace the drum unit. Way too early to be spending $165 for a new drum unit. That's 1/3 of the original cost after a short period of time.

Excerpt: We bought this to replace a Brother printer we had that was FANTASTIC. This one---not so much. Upon opening, we thought trays, etc., seemed flimsier than our previous printer. Now, just after a year of use (and out of warranty), it jams every single time we try to duplex a document. The high-yield ink cartridges run out fast, too, and they are expensive. Excerpt: I bought this printer to speed up our printing of manuals. It is faster than an inkjet, but you'll pay for it! I printed two times the amount I printed on this printer for 1/6 of the cost! In no time at all I spent $900 dollars in toner. I printed more than double the amount on an $89.00 HP inkjet I picked up while on location, and it only cost me $200 in ink! I believe I would return this printer if I could but I have had it for 3 months.

Summary: Among the many buyers lured to this machine for its attractive price-performance ratio, I have come to regret buying this junk for the awful toner issues and service level: a) constant leakages with toner dust b) ridiculous "cartridge sensor" technology not allowing to reinsert half-full cartridges and just now even giving error messages with brand-new, sealed cartridges c) service team taking up days to drop in and fix the mess Heed my advice: Stay clear of this brand.
