Summary: Has been great. Prints Duplex. Scans to a networked PC! Scans double sided in one pass! Scans large documents to thumb drive! Goes to a deep sleep when not using! Negatives? Doesn't scan to a VISTA PC, but who cares! Ran out of the trial toner pretty much all at the same time, not sure how many pages, but for me and my family, it was about 9 months Card stock comes out curled, so no chance of duplexing it!
Summary: When a printer does not support AirPrint without downloading an app, it's pretty much useless to us. 3 iPhones, 2 iPads and a macbook. Sent it back and ordered something else (saved over $200 too!
Summary: I don't think the fax part of the printer ever worked. So why give it 5 stars? Because it prints and prints and prints and prints. The first printer I ever had was a dot matrix Brother printer that wouldn't quit. Computers advanced and ribbon got expensive. There are so many junk printers out there, but then I went back to Brother. The 1440 that I bought so many years ago, the 9840 and the 9860 all still work. And I use these things randomly.
Summary: PROS:It duplexes, prints color, copies, scans in PDF or OCR (character recognition), has a built in fax with wi-fi for printing from your iPhone/iPad using Brother's free print application. It prints quickly (even color). CON(singular): It's big and bulky so you need to have room for it. For routine office/home work it's great. I haven't had to replace cartridges yet but the main reason I bought it is that the reviews said ink is cheap to replace.
Summary: Nice unit for small office. Adds color capability as well as wireless and duplex. Envelope printing is a bit different than my old B&W unit due to the straight through path requiring opening the back and releasing tension on the rollers on this machine.
Summary: This was the second brother all in one we ordered. Within a year the machine started showing error and would not print. After exhausting all the troubleshooting methods we contacted Brother. They told us to go to the local third party repair shop; turns out it could cost as much as the machine's cost to get this junk fixed.
Summary: I used to buy HP printers but found I had to replace them every couple of years. I buy nothing but Brother printers now. I have this big color laser printer and bought a black and white laser for my college going daughter. This is probably the 4th Brother I have owned. I bought this one while I still had a small accounting business.
Summary: A friend suggested purchasing a brother for our office. We don't do major copying but more then average. the MFC9560cdw has been quite satisfying and makes great copies in b&w and color. The fax and scanner does a satisfactory job, To date we are very satisfied.
Summary: I was extremely dissatisfied with the printer. The paper I had to use for business would roll up on the edges. In order to print an envelope, you had to turn the machine around so the envelope would come out the back of the machine. The envelopes always had creases. Awful design flaw! The fax interfered with my voice mail and telephone system.
Excerpt: This printer/fax/scanner is excellent--but I didn't rate it as 5 stars only because it has just one paper tray, instead of 2 (one for legal, one for standard). The single tray does take both sizes of paper, but for some reason I imagined this to have 2 different trays. My mistake. Otherwise, this is fabulous. Set up was simple thanks to the VERY easy instructions that would tell you precisely what to press (i.e.
