Excerpt: This has been a completely trouble-free printer/scanner. I had Samsungs before this, but after a bad experience with their most recent offering, I had to make a choice....glad I chose this one.
Summary: Overall, an excellent color laser printer for the price. I use this printer for producing my photo studio brochures and other daily printing needs. SETUP: Followed the guide and it was very easy. PRINT QUALITY: Not photo quality; but, very acceptable for my marketing pieces. Clients have commented on how nice they look. Some minor banding on color intense images which most people would probably never notice. Tends to curl card-stock and cover stock.
Summary: needing space in my home office I decided to get this all in one to replace a Canon Image Runner which was a real big device needing too much space plus I could replace a scanner and a Fax machine. Absolutely happy with this printer and my concern about too high expenses for toner are gone, still working with the starter cartridges and did print already over 1000 pages
Summary: Set up was easy . Does everything that we need. We replaced two printers for this one. Price was good. Envelopes sometimes curl up a little. We have not used everything this printer has to offer but we will in the near future. Support was great on setting up the fax. They sent test sheets to make sure every thing was working.
Summary: This printer/scanner has been working great since I received it. It's a mini workhorse! I do some fairly heavy printing and copying and have had no problems whatsoever. I highly recommend this printer for any office.
Summary: This was easy to install and setup. Just remove the tape and add the toner and change time. My 12 year old daughter set it up with ease and the software detected the printer on my network without issue. I was looking for an inexpensive color laser and this is the one. I have tested every facet of this printer from USB cable to wireless printing with my laptop. The color faxes was the only thing I did not test since I did not have another color fax machine available.
Not my first Brother printer, and probably not my last.

Summary: What I really wanted was a color laser printer with a few extra talents like copying and scanning, but also faxing (which I may never use, but wished I had a few times when I didn't have it on my DCP-8065DN). On the other hand, the older machine does have duplex copying capability (though not in color), so I'm keeping it just for that.
