Summary: Well despite the fact that once the unit arrived in town, it bounced around in the back of a FedEx truck for almost a week before they actually delivered it and the box looked like it had been through a war, the product was undamaged. (to my surprise) The unit works well on all functions.
Excerpt: Network setup was noobie friendly. Can allow DHCP or static setup. I assigned a static IP and software for network found it faster than windows finds devices. Toner is pricey from Brother, but aftermarket provides great toners.
Pros: Easy software setup, Efficient, Fast, Great standard features, Network Scanning, Sharp Detail
Excerpt: Most things just work out of the box. Great quality and cost of ownership.<br /><br />Pretty large and heavy. I have not been able to scan duplex. Nor have I been able to get OCR with anything but text.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Low toner consumption
Summary: I bought this unit to serve my needs at home. I use my computer for all my personal finance and needed a laser for printing checks that won't run in the rain. I also have two young sons, so I wanted to upgrade to color for printing photos and for their school and scout projects.
Summary: Works great for copying, faxing, printing basics. My only complaint is I can't load and print my business check without it jamming. I have to keep a separate cheap printer on hand just for that. Love all other functions though.
a bit noisy and quirky, but excellent value and quality

Summary: The software install is lengthy and fails easily, but once that is taken care of, the system operates quite well. The printing is quite good, slow duplexing but tolerable and nice-looking output.
Summary: The Brother MFC-9460CDN is a great all around printer. Great speed and flexible. Make sure you read the manual to figure out how to do double-sided copying. It can be done, but it's not intuitive. Other than that, it's a great printer.
Summary: I've had this printer for almost a year now - over 3000 pages printed, and not a single paper jam. Very easy to set to work with Windows, OS-X and Android (did not try iOS). Scanner works nicely with Windows (did not try with OS-X).
