Summary: I purchased this Brother MFC-9440 all in laser printer that had been used. I got a good price on it. I was not expecting very much for the price. To my surprise it works great. It is fast and has good color quality. Much cheaper than a jet printer. Good instruction book and good service over phone. I would recommend it to anyone.
Summary: compact size compared to other all in one laser printers. cheaper cost for toners as well. Really clean crisp bright colors when printing - better than the Samsung I owned. I am really happy with this printer - better quality, more functions and better price over business printer!
Cons: takes a good 10 minutes to warm up to print, even if it had just printed something. very inconvenient when customers are waiting for a printed invoice. constantly having to replace the toner which costs hundreds of dollars to replace them.
Cons: Expensive expendables belt and drums dead at 27k prints. I have a total of 16 brother machines in the office. The 6 year old ones are still working The new ones 9440's dead at under 50k. The second one at 27k. No more Brotherly love in my offices.
This has got to be one of the best color laser printers

Summary: I own three of these. Brother is second to none when it comes to their color laser products! They are durable, and accurate. The color is phenominal. The 9440 is nice, very practical for any small to medium office. The 9840 however, I'll jump hoops for.
Summary: I am happy with the MFC. Bought over a month ago. So far so good. [...]. It is quite big but it is a Laser all in one. I bought because I am fed up of changing tiny ink cartridges. Also the old HP machine ink was not even damp proof. Initial set up and cost was OK as well. Cons: Like all lasers, it takes a while (20 secs maybe) to "warm up" before it starts to copy/print and I think that the drop down paper feeder feels a bit flimsy.Hopefully it will last as we use it...
Pros: Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Economical, Fast Copy Time, Great copy quality, Reliable
