Brother MFC-9420CN

PC Magazine
1 March 2008
  • Conclusion: The Brother MFC-9420CN offers the right combination of features to get on anybody's short list for a color laser AIO in a small office.
  • Pros: Fast performance for the price. Prints, scans, and faxes over network. Includes 35-page automatic document feeder.
  • Cons: Actual monochrome print speed is a bit slower than we'd expect from the rated speed.

  • Summary: The Brother MFC-9420CN offers most of the functions you'd want in an all-in-one, but its design often gets in the way. We'd trade some of its admirable speed for better print quality and ease of use.
  • Pros: Fast performance, crisp text output
  • Cons: Bulky design, hard to set up
